Apple Rooms Rome Airport

We had trouble connecting with the free airport transfer and paid $40 for a 10 minute ride. This is a "guesthouse" in the middle of a neighborhood with barred windows. There are no food services nearby, but we walked about a mile to the waterfront and found many restaurants. We were sure to return before dark. Hot tub was not accesible.

I would definitely not recommend staying here unless you absolutely have to be close to the Rome airport. This is in a somewhat rundown neighborhood, and it certainly is not very charming. You will be a long, long way from the historical sites in Rome. However, the room we had was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable. The person at the desk was very friendly and helpful. We were there just to sleep a few hours, so it worked for us.

Basic accommodations, at best. This is a house that they renovated into 3 rooms for rent. The living room is a common area for guests. There are no restaurants anywhere nearby. You have to walk at least 20 minutes to get to a restaurant. It is located in a poor part of town next to the airport. “Free breakfast” was a couple of individually wrapped granola bars. No cable tv, only Netflix. Our “EX” travel agent really screwed up when she booked this place for us.

Perfect for the price. The hotel staff was welcoming. She didn't speak fluent English, but she made an excellent effort to help us. With the aide of Google Translate, we were able to communicate without issue. She was very kind, patient with our lack of Italian, and overly accommodating to help us with anything we asked. The room is clean and tidy. The shower was great and much larger than some of the others we'd encountered in Europe. The hotel has free parking, but it's all street parking. There's a free shuttle to the airport you can arrange with the staff. Note it only goes to FCO, not CIA. The hotel is also nearby a ***** of restaurants that's an easy 10 min walk.

I can’t rave enough about Apple rooms FCO airport! They offer a free shuttle to/from the airport with prior scheduling on set times and the hotel is very small- just 4 rooms! We were quite surprised by the free breakfast (it came all pre packed and waiting for us in our room) plus they have free tee and coffee on offer 24/7! The rooms are almost brand new and very spacious! The staff were all very nice and it’s only a quick 10-15 min ride to/from the airport! Totally would use again for my pre-flight crash pad! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
