Royalton Antigua, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

Our overall stay was pleasant. One of the best things to note is the staff were all welcoming and friendly. The location of the resort is also secluded with a beautiful clean beach. Additionally, the food was also surprisingly good— even the buffet. On the negative end, there was so many flies on the property, possibly because it was mango season? Another odd thing was the smell of mildew and dirty water in the room. It didn’t last all day, it would just come and go. Also, the ac in the room dropped to 64 degrees which in my opinion was not cool enough and oftentimes the room felt muggy and stuffy. Lastly, something to note is that the steakhouse does get packed QUICKLY. If you’re not part of the diamond club I suggest you join their waitlist at 6pm sharp as regular customers can’t make reservations (diamond club perks only). The steakhouse dinner was delicious, but if you can’t make it the buffet had good dinner options as well.

Few words Don’t stay, waste of money, unhealthy food, poor hygiene, pools with chicken legs floating, noisy rooms and I can keep going……. They still want me to write 200 plus words Above all far away from the airport added cost for taxi etc…….

Fantastic resort, really clean rooms, excellent food. Javier and Kai were fantastic, couldn't do enough for us. We spent 2 weeks celebrating our wedding anniversary and really enjoyed our stay, the Diamond Club is definitely worth doing, there was never a problem getting a lounger and it was so easy to dine in the speciality restaurants. Our only ****** was the checkout process, we asked for a room extension due to a night flight at the time of booking and again on arrival, but even though the resort was very quiet we were not able to - annoyingly on checkout day a member of the maintenance team entered our room and asked us when we were checking out... and on checkout, we were not asked if we had enjoyed our stay from a quite rude and sarcastic lady. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend The Royalton and would definitely return.

Tyrone manager for Carribean grill was excellent and staff. He walks from table to table to make sure he addresses any concerns guests had.

This is day 1, and I'm already reaching out to people I know on other islands nearby because there is definitely the possibility my wife and I are not staying here for a week. I want to say first the people on this island have been wonderful, so this is no reflection on them whatsoever. Let me start with the NX Nexus tours we were provided as our transfers from the airport. NX needs to step up their game because it definitely isn't how anyone wants to start their holiday. The car was dirty and didn't have air conditioning. Well, he had a button that said AC, but it didn't work, and he joked that it was Island Breeze Air Conditioning. That's okay when it's not 96% or higher humidity. Scientifically, it should have been raining. My wife and the wife of another couple actually started feeling sick. Royalto,really, this is who you are using for your transfers. It was anything but royal. If anything, it was criminal. The 25-minute ride took 55 minutes somehow through streets of a neighborhood and off the beaten path. I think to avoid the traffic. When we first arrived we were given a welcome champagne drink. It was warm. This matches the transfer from the airport I'd like to reiterate that people working at the Royalton Spa have been amazing. The drinks are good and the food has been surprisingly very good. The breakfast is just right with plenty of choices. For lunch, you have options that seem to work pretty well also. They do have a few things running around the resort called children, I think. However, they have all been well-behaved, and parents have been parenting. That is refreshing to see. There is an adult pool where kids were at a minimum if this matters. I will also add that I haven't heard a single screaming child, but that's okay it comes with the territory.
