OUTDATED RESORT!!!!!
No Air conditioner in some bungalows had to upgrade to AC bungalow for a fee $$.
No clean towels or wash clothes available.
Toilet backed up, plumbing was horrible, standing water in shower and toilet bubbles. Had to call service desk guy was rude and for 2 DAYS septic trucks were on property, awful smell .
No water sometimes and it was brown .
Overbooked excursions they said the engine blew up on your boat but watched the tour boat sail all day laying on the beach.
Limited dinner options and same type of food everyday
Unfriendly staff, they don’t smile.
Soccer kids hanging/laying around resort for days.
The beach and water was amazingly beautiful.

The Hawksbill Resort is the perfect place for people who like a nice, quiet resort with no crowds, no annoying boat noise, no bling, and no annoying touristy gimmicks. This is the way all resorts used to be, and I wish more were like this. Kudos to Hawksbill for keeping the dream vacation alive. If you want noise and crowds and busyness, and ugly high rise resort buildings and 5 pools and 8 restaurants, and endless planned activities, then this isn’t the place for you. But if you like peace and quiet and beautiful scenery, and great beaches, good food and drinks, and nice people, and space and relaxation, then this IS the place for you.

Although the general ambience of the resort was appealing , it had an air of being work in progress with many rooms and main buildings still in need of major renovation.

Loved this resort, quite quirky as very spread out but meant everyone had plenty of space regarding Sunbeds etc. I stayed in bungalow overlooking bay, superb views, lovely comfy bed. Food- good choices and variety available.
Staff so helpful and catered for all your needs. Thoroughly recommend.

20 steps from our room to the sea. It was wonderful. The room had everything you needed - a comfortable bed and pillows, good air conditioning, no TV (this is a plus), high-speed wifi. Beautiful nature, wonderful sea

Antigua is a beautiful island boasting 365 beaches, which is true. However the Hawksbill property is the gem of the island. Tucked away in privacy on the caribbean side, facing west for gorgeous sunsets. If you are looking to be with nature and a low key hotel environment then the Hawksbill is the perfect place. The new management has done a very good job with all the upgrades. Lastly I cannot say enough about how friendly all the staff are from the front desk to the ground keepers and everyone in between. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Hawksbill in April 2024. If you are looking for peace and quiet with no distractions from having a relaxing holiday then this is the place for you. As ever at all inclusives there are staff who will do all they can to ensure you have the best time and really make a place and then there are others who do not have the same sentiment but there are more positives than negatives! Trip sellers on the beach are a little full on but we told them a firm no and never heard from them again! We were in room 137 and had a perfect view of the sunset. Only other gripe would be that the furniture (ie cupboards/wardrobes) were very old and tired and would benefit from an upgrade.
