Small and succince facilities and room. Nothing to pose the suitcases. Nothing to dry beach towels and swimsuits.

The Villas Caroline is a hotel to feel good! My friend and I spent 2 weeks here. It is very centrally located, there are many restaurants in the area (Mauritian cuisine, Italian, Indian,…). We only booked breakfast, which was very extensive (crêpes, bread, fruit, muesli, omelette,…). What we liked best was the phenomenal view from our room (room 345). All rooms have sea views and a terrace or balcony. Problems with the room were resolved immediately. We will definitely come back! The following points were also positive: - very friendly staff - Reef for snorkeling directly in the sea of ​​the hotel beach - Loungers at the beach and pool - Pool - varied animation, as well as a pool table - Possibility to book various tours at the hotel - Possibility to rent a car (€33 per day) - Air conditioner - Diving school next to the hotel Negative points: - Hotel is very much designed for French guests - Bathroom a bit older, some with mold

Pas véritablement de points négatifs concernant l'hôtel. Chambre spacieuse, clim silencieuse, vue mer, ménage fait tous les jours. Les barmans ne lésinent pas sur l'alcool dans les cocktail ce qui n'est pas le cas partout. La nourriture n'est certes pas variée mais c'est bon et pour celle et ceux à qui ca pourrait ne pas convenir, aller plutôt dans un 5 étoiles, ce sera juste 2 à 3 fois plus cher. Le personnel est très correct, professionnel et serviable. Vous ferez connaissance à coup sur de Samy (petite dédicace) qui se fait une joie de se présenter dès le 1er jour et qui vous dit à peine bonjour par la suite car vous ne lui avez pas acheter d'excursion. Vous ne serez malheureusement pas non plus épargnés par 1 ou 2 vendeurs relou sur la plage mais bon c'est partout pareil. Pour conclure nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un complexe à taille humaine (ce qui nous a conforté dans notre choix), le beau temps était de la partie et nos plus beaux souvenirs seront les images que nous garderons de tous ces poissons multicolores, murènes et autres rascasses..., la vue pleine mer en sirotant un cocktail.

Un très bon hôtel avec une équipe d’animation au top (Cynthia, Endy, etc) 👍👌. Des serveurs au petit soin. Une plage très bien exposé avec un super lagon. Buffet de qualité. Emplacement idéal pour un beau couché de soleil. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

Village vacances à taille humaine, personnel très agréable, animations FRAM très bien, acces mer direct, bien situé pour visiter l'ile. Restauration bien. Chambres correctes pour la classification du village vacance. Aucun regret, experience à renouveler.

Top hotel 👍👍👍 go there with your eyes closed, your room overlooks the lagoon 🤩🤩, attentive staff, top entertainers!!! Family hotel and very well located. The only small negative point is the food but that in no way spoiled our stay. We had an amazing 10 days, we hope to return to Mauritius in a few years and if we have that chance, we will return to Villa Caroline.

Family stay with our children and granddaughters. Very pleasant club with rooms directly overlooking the beach. Perfect buffet catering with limited choice but always very well cooked. Excursions taken from Summertimes are a little expensive but of good quality. Dynamic and well-balanced entertainment from Andy and his team, very good choice of orchestras and singers. And above all, extreme kindness of the staff to satisfy all our requests. We hope to return to Villa Caroline 👏

Having just returned to France, we returned with mixed feelings about the Villas Caroline hotel. We arrived very early at the hotel (7:00 a.m.), tired, we were greeted quite coldly at reception by a gentleman who told us that we would not have access to our room before 2:00 p.m. and that we could just enjoy the beach. while waiting: Except that it's a day of torrential rain... We are still offered breakfast. Noon change of staff at the reception and fortunately a charming lady arrives and seeing us sleeping with difficulty on armchairs near the bar inquires and tells us that our room is ready finally we will be able to rest and take a shower (we will learn later that (a courtesy room is provided for this type of case but it was not offered to us) A big thank you to the luggage porter who brightened our day with his good humor. The room is very good, clean, a very large bed, bathroom with a large shower, plug adapter and a Balcony...Wow... facing the beach ideal for admiring the sunset which then seems n ' belong only to us. After a hot shower and a nap while the storm passes, we go to the hotel bar where the bartender is in a hurry and not very smiling. We had taken an all-inclusive plan thinking of overusing the bar but given the welcome and the very strong and therefore not very pleasant cocktails we were very reasonable. The meals are OK, the breakfast is very good, lots of sweet or savory choices, fresh fruit every morning. Lunch is simpler but as we were only there for two lunchtimes in total during our stay this suited us perfectly. Lots of choice at the Diner, we always found something to satisfy us, however very little local cuisine and a lot of overcooked fish or spicy dishes. If we had to do it again we would only take the breakfast option knowing that there are many restaurants, snack bars and bars on the island or we would have gotten away with cheaper meals with more authentic meals. I wouldn't judge the entertainment, we didn't stay at the hotel much during the day and in the evening we were too tired from our excursions to participate in the evenings. Several attempts were made to mix with other Fram holidaymakers but to be honest our stay was a romantic one and we wanted to get together together. As for the excursions, we did not book them either with Fram or with Summertimes (which is are busy with our transfers) or even with Samy (small cabin within the hotel selling excursions). From reliable sources they delegate most of their excursions to local taxis, charging you more than double what they pay them. So avoid intermediaries by looking for taxi guides where you will learn a lot about the island and its inhabitants and who negotiates
