Mountain Park Hotel

Rooms are a little tired, was hoping for much more but not terrible by any means. The bed was made each day which is certainly a bonus over Travelodge. I would stay again as the price was probably right for the stay

We were gifted a voucher by a family member for a 1 night bed and breakfast stay, I'm not sure if it was the fact we were using a voucher rather than being paying customers but we were really let down. The room we were given was nice, but hadn't been cleaned as the toilet was left in a mess, at arrival the lady who checked us in asked us when we would like breakfast the next day and we chose the earliest which was 8am - except when we went down the next day at 8am we were told by another staff member that the kitchen was being repaired all day and no food was available, after he checked the computer and realised we were booked in for breakfast he offered us a bowl of cereal so we ended up leaving without breakfast and going home early. The location and grounds are really nice and both members of staff were lovely so I'm not sure where the problems came from but it's obviously very disappointing as we were excited for a night away for our anniversary that was gifted to us. This hotel could of been perfect and one of our go to's so it's a shame!

My son and daughter in law had there wedding night party at the hotel and a meal in the day go 20 of us after they got married . Food was absolutely amazing staff most friendly and helpful . Party at night was brilliant food again was delicious staff exceptional, prices very very reasonable . I would definitely use hotel again for a party or just a meal . I booked here for a combined baby shower and birthday for afternoon tea Which was amazing! Sandwiches and cakes were delicious! We had a private room, the “Snug” which was fabulous! We were allowed to decorate the room and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, they went out of their way to make it a very special afternoon! Thank you! Can highly recommend !

We stopped here once for a coffee and cake while our car was charging and liked the bar. Staff were friendly and the coffee was good. So we went back on Sunday for the three-course Mother's Day meal. Really good, and the staff were lovely. It's a handy place to stop and recharge yourself (and the car) on a trip.

Excellent simple hotel and bargain for the price

Stayed overnight on route to Prestatyn. Room was large and spacious plenty of storage, lighting, plug points. Double bed, comfortable mattress clean fresh bedding. We had a bath as well as a shower. Toiletries were provided, fresh fluffy white towels. Our window looked out to the golf course. Tea/coffee/milk/sugar and biscuits provided. The meal in the restaurant was lovely as was breakfast in the morning. All the staff we met were welcoming and very friendly particularly Sophie. Yes some areas are dated but that didn't detract from our stay. Would definitely stay there again if in the area and would recommend.

We needed to use the rapid chargers and decided to have lunch while we waited. Very friendly service throughout, from first contact when I rang to book and check the chargers weren't too far a walk from the restaurant. Had soup and burger and chips etc. All in all a good experience and recommended stop

Stayed here quite a few times and thought I'd give the restaurant a try for a quick business meeting and as it was a fine evening we decided to sit outside and was asked to pay for my meal and drinks like I was some thief in the night... Now I am from northern Ireland so it's blatantly a case of racial profiling which I quite simply disgusting in this day and age but the kicker is we both asked for a rare and medium rare steak and they both came out Well done now I Sent mine back politely and waited and it came out Well done again it's like they had never cooked a steak before I'm no chef but I can cook a steak to whatever you desire. And the staff were more infested in hanging out behind the bar rather than deal with my issue so needless to say I will never be back and I stay in a different hotel these days one that can be bothered with their customers.. Bunch of racists I hope they go bust
