Wir waren letztes Wochenende mit 3 Familien und über 2 Nächte im Thüringer Hof in Struth-Helmershof. Alles war perfekt, das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet, die Zimmer sind modern und gemütlich zugleich, hatten teilweise Balkon. Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Küche, wir haben lecker zu Abend gegessen und das Frühstücksbuffee ist Spitzenklasse! Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Familie Kirschner und dem gesamten Team des Hotels - solch einen Service bekommt man heute nicht mehr oft geboten! Wir können den Thüringer Hof absolut empfehlen, kommen selbst bestimmt auch mal wieder vorbei - der Thüringer Wald ist immer eine Reise wert.

Wir waren während unserer Wanderung auf dem nahegelegenen Rennsteig zu Gast im Hotel Thüringer Hof und können das Haus sehr empfehlen.
Das Hotel bzw. die Zimmer sind sehr schön und komfortabel, alles ist hervorragend gepflegt und die Bäder sind hochwertig und modern ausgestattet. Der neugestaltete Frühstücksraum ist eine Augenweide und man hat viel Freude den Tag dort zu beginnen.
Auch die Küche ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sowohl unser Abendessen im Restaurant wie auch das Frühstück überzeugtem durch Geschmack, Qualität und Preis.
Besonders möchte ich die Freundlichkeit des Teams hervorheben. Der Inhaber und sein Team sind sehr gute Gastgeber und man fühlt sich aufgrund ihrer authentischen Herzlichkeit sehr wohl im Thüringer Hof.
Kurzum: wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!

+ Gute Lage, + ansprechender erster Eindruck bei Ankunft + erstklassige Küche, danach muss man lange suchen - wirklich herausragend + kleines, aber sehr feines Frühstücksbuffet in wirklich schönem Ambiente + aufmerksamer Service - Zimmer zur Straße leider sehr laut, hatten die mittlere Kategorie gebucht, sah anders aus als auf den Fotos. - Gastraum, in dem Abendessen für die Übernachtungsgäste serviert wurde, hat uns nicht gefallen, saßen gefühlt am Stammtisch direkt neben der Theke - Hinweis, dass der überall beworbene Sky-Anschluss nicht funktioniert, wäre nett gewesen.

Kann man nur empfehlen, super Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr gute Küche. Service Personal ist ausgesprochen herzlich, freundlich. Ruhige Lage. Sowohl der Frühstücksraum als auch die Gaststube sind ausgesprochen geschmackvoll in den letzten Jahren renoviert worden. Wir hatten ein großes Balkonzimmer mit einem neuen Badezimmer. Das Hotelzimmer war nicht neu renoviert, aber sehr geplegt und sauber. Ausreichende Parkplätze am Haus.

Die Küche bietet eine große Auswahl sehr guter Gerichte, auch vegetarisch und vegan. Man merkt, dass sich hier Gedanken gemacht wird. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich und sauber eingerichtet. Trotz Hochzeit im Saal war im Zimmer (30 m entfernt) keine Lärmbelästigung. Das in Thüringen keine Masken mehr am Frühstücksbuffet getragen werden müssen, war für uns zunächst irritierend. Parkplätze sind genügend am Haus.

Unser Zimmer war gross und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit Aussicht auf viel Grünes und die Berge im Hintergrund. Es hat gerade geschneit sodass die Urlaubsatmosphäre perfekt war. Für mich waren die Matratzen ein wenig zu weich aber das ist Geschmackssache. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und die Bedienung wie überall im diesem familiengeführtes Hotel äusserst zuvorkommend. Das Abendessen bot ein vielfältiges Angebot an Fleisch, Fisch und vegetarische Gerichte. Eine thüringische Spezialität hat besonders gut geschmeckt, Schäufele heisst es und selten habe ich ein so zartes Schweinefleisch gegessen. Selbstverständlich als Beilage die köstlichen thüringischen Knödel.
