Suburban Studios Florence I-95

This was one of the dirtiest places I've ever seen. We first checked into a room where the refrigerator and microwave were filthy. There was a utility tray with 2 knives in it but the tray was layered with dust. The desk clerk kindly switched us to another room. The "kitchen" was better, but the area behind the bed, under the mattress was dirty. Also, there was only a tiny bit of toilet paper in the room. I tried to call the front desk, but the room phone didn't work. When I got the desk on my cell phone, I was told that if I wanted more toilet paper, I would have to come down to get it. After driving for 10 hours and unpacking twice, I was furious.

It was dirty, roaches everywhere, rooms smelled awful and was just overall disgusting

I got an instant refund. People hanging around making it seem unsafe. I walked in the room and walked right back out to the service desk. This is the nastiest hotel I’ve ever seen. The room smelled just like urine and the outside was like a trash can, trash everywhere…disgusting is the best way to describe it.

Paper thin blankets and almost no working lighting in our room. Unsteady shower with no grab bars and what looked like puttied over bullet holes in door.

Well folks, unfortunately you can't leave Less than 1 star so I guess they benefit from that. This place was rough. We had a reservation to stay here last night and we decided to leave the room and go stay somewhere else. The lobby looked fine and the person at the desk was nice enough but that's were anything good that I have to say ends. When we got to our room the entire area outside the room stunk like ****. When we went in the room all we could smell was cigarette smoke. The room was dirty and dark and dank. When I turned around to close the door I saw that the door lock was broken and hanging off and at the same time I was looking at the lock my wife was pulling the blankets down and found a hole in the sheets. We looked at each other and without saying anything we agreed we weren't interested in being killed in such a terrible room that night (Do yourself a favor and google this place). It's honestly sad because we stayed in this exact hotel about 11 years ago and had a good experience. What's hard to understand is that from what we saw online this hotel pretty much burned down about 4 or so years ago. How was it rebuilt and it looks older than it did in 2010? Long story short we got refunded from Choice hotels after a few hours of phone calls due to the front desk not answering the phone when customer support called them. Do yourself a huge favor, go somewhere else!

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! It was absolutely gross. Room was covered in mold and there were blood stains on everything! The towels, the bed and the lamp shade! Little tiny spiders that jump everywhere. Bathroom door was broken. Gang activity outside... we honestly felt threatened while unpacking the car. Rooms were so gross we left after 4 minutes and moved to another hotel up the road. Child started having an allergic reaction due to mold. Staff was nice and quickly refunded my money for the two rooms. I wish I could give this place a negative rating.

It was to far in the back did not feel safe tv was about to fall off wall door did not lock bolt was off the door shower knot was coming off sink was backing up with water not enough towels for two people we told them we did not need maid service for the next day so they did not come around until we checked out cabivat under sink was tore up mivewave plate wasnt levered just a big mess i want be staying there again
