We were supposed to stay for 2 days in March, but unfortunately for health reasons the departure was canceled at the last minute even though it had already been paid for. A lady from the staff (I have never interacted directly with the owner) reassured me several times that the reservation would remain valid for a later time. So far everything seemed perfect! It seemed, because obviously when it's time to look for another feasible weekend, in addition to the fact that the prices per night have increased in an inhumane way compared to this spring, I don't get any response when I go to collect this "promise". In the meantime, I await a response, I read the various reviews and I note with great regret that I am not the only one who has found herself faced with similar situations, deposits never refunded, rude and rude behavior from the owner. What a smartass! I would have preferred him to tell us clearly from day one that we had now paid and it was our business. Maybe it's better this way... Silly me for not reading the reviews before, I may have also wasted my money but for sure I'll go to a better place to go to Florence. Let him keep the money, I'm starving and capable of scamming customers.
