Hu Firenze Camping in Town

We stayed at this campsite in October. The place was very clean and well maintained, but it’s quite far from the city centre. In the morning, getting there is easy enough, but in the evening the buses are often overcrowded. Since there are only two per hour, you sometimes can’t even get on. The facilities are good overall, though hot water is limited — showers last about 10 minutes maximum. If you’re camping in a tent, make sure to turn the heater on at night, as it gets very cold after dark.

A 30 minutes ride back and fro. Very far. And bus only come within long intervals.

This is honestly my first serious travel review and unfortunately it would be the really negative one. As much as I could give this a nice rating, I DO NOT RECOMMEND any traveller to choose this one! It’s an open camping area, which I’m sure it’d deliver many perks for camping lovers, however here’s the reasons why this is the WORST hotel I’ve ever had: Location: yes it’s close to bus 14, however it NEVER come on time, the way going to central Florence makes all of us wait for 45 minutes, and the way coming back was around 30 minutes late on average. It would cost you 60 mins more including the time you go to downtown areas, compared to living in the city center. If you’re not driving, please consider this carefully! Clean: WORST. First, the sink does not really work as I wash my hands or face, it flew down extremely slow. Secondly, the air conditioner has dirty and damp smell when it’s in use. (Please see pictures attached). Most important, DIRTY SHEETS that has three dark points when I came in. And the worst of all, there was NO QUILT. When I arrived in the middle of the night, I had to contact trip.com support to contact them because my UK number couldn’t dial Italy one. And the room does not have any direct phone service either, If you’d prefer to go talk to the receptionist, you can walk there which is around 5 mins or so. Hospitality: the front-desk receptionists are very nice, however when I request partial refund due to the reasons above, they refused and said that they could change the new sheet for me. And guess what, when I return back at night, the sheet was lying on my bed and NO ONE CHANGED IT. In short, if you’re expecting a certain level of hospitality and thinking you’re paying for the full-room of your own with reasonable price, rethink about it!

Fresh air ,perfect accommodation, just close to the downtown of Firenze!!!

This hotel has several swimming pools and full of people in summer. Room was spacious.
