View Hotel Folkestone

We were in 209, the room was fantastic, although with how big it was it could have done with a sofa or a mini bar as it seemed like there was a lot of wasted space. Was great to see the twinkling lights of boulogne. Bed was comfortable, bathroom is massive, and top quality. The dinner was good and well presented, all staff were extremely professional. Breakfast was superb. All in all, would love to stay again.

Not really very good at all. Room wasn't very clean, shower was broken and when reported to reception no reduction in our rate was offered. Pillows didn't have pillow protectors on so you could see stained pillows which was fairly disgusting. Food was average at dinner . There was a good choice at breakfast but all the cooked food was barely warm and not freshly cooked.

Hotel itself is reasonable. Nice sized rooms, good bed and shower. But thin walls, so you could hear next door’s conversation! Had dinner here too, and it was good and reasonably priced. Staff were excellent The breakfast however was poor. It was buffet style and the cooked offerings, were congealed and lukewarm. Looked like they had been cooked hours before.

We have just left after spending one night. As a family of 5 we had booked two rooms (205 & 206) but the larger room was so spacious with extra beds put up we could have managed with one as our youngest sleeps in with us! The rooms are spacious clean and the beds are very comfortable. Shower was powerful and hot, much better than most you find! We were on the second floor and right next to the lift. Breakfast was fantastic , lots of variety - pastries, cooked breakfast, cereals and yoghurts etc and a really lovely breakfast room with a view of the gardens. Staff were attentive and friendly and the check in and out were quick but thorough. Won’t hesitate to stay here again - very helpful and 10-15 mins from the eurotunnel so perfectly situated.

Jonny was amazing after a wedding we fancied food and he helped order the food for us he was amazing form start to finish tbh all staff where amazing when we stayed for the two nights breakfast was amazing honestly recommend the rooms are so comfy too!!!

Went for a cream tea… The hotel itself is beautiful and modern inside with original features to the building. So entering the hotel was very promising. I was with some friends having a cream tea and was served sandwiches that were either previously made or not covered before they were served, as some of the bread had gone, dry. I had a cup of coffee served a waiter and the coffee was so strong I couldn’t drink it. When the waiter came round again, I asked him for some tea. He said he couldn’t give me any because he didn’t have the tea jug - he only had the coffee jug. He said I needed to wait until the tea came round which would be served by somebody different. I waited 20 minutes for this… I was surprised that he made no attempt to get me some. The cake was tasty but had been hacked into various shapes and sizes and put on a serving platter… And to top it all off, one of the male waiters had very bad body odour. Not very nice when he was reaching past you to put plates of food on the table. I am not the sort of person who complains, as I like to give everywhere a chance before I make any assumptions… But the attention to detail was minimal, and the lack of care in the sandwiches really killed it for me. The amount I paid for the cream tea certainly did not reflect what I received. I’m sure lots of people have fantastic experiences here, but I will not be going back again.

Fabulous location, lovely hotel, rooms spotless, staff very friendly and a lovely breakfast. Only downside was parking, but would think it is the same for all hotels in area, but would not stop us returning. We went to the leas cliff Hall, which was a stones throw away

Very comfortable stay. Second visit didn't disappoint. Would be happen to return in the future.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful hotel, we will be back.
