Charmant petit hôtel, très calme, idéalement situé à deux pas de l'entrée de l'Abbaye de Fontevraud. Cour intérieure très agréable avec une glycine magnifique où l'on peut s'installer pour un temps calme. Très bon accueil. Chambre fonctionnelle mais qui mérite une rénovation en particulier pour la salle de bain : douche cabine vétuste, toilette non séparée, pas de sèche-serviette et le petit radiateur électrique ne fonctionne pas. Une petite bouilloire dans la chambre pour thé/tisane serait la bienvenue ainsi qu'une boite à mouchoirs. La chambre "ambiance" que nous avions correspondait d'avantage à celle d'un établissement 2 étoiles que 3 étoiles mais peut-être que d'autres chambres étaient de meilleur confort. Petit déjeuner buffet correct mais minimal, on connait beaucoup mieux pour un trois étoiles. En revanche le restaurant mérite le détour, grande variété de plats de qualité servis copieusement et très bons desserts avec une salle de restaurant agréable réchauffée par un feu de cheminée. Parking privé très pratique derrière l'hôtel. A noter petite piscine extérieure (donc non fonctionnelle les mois froids).

Très bel Hôtel a la décoration soignée, les propriétaires sont vraiment professionnels. Avons séjournés 2 nuits dans une très belle chambre aux dimensions généreuses et au calme. Diner en terrasse ou les plats sont vraiment dignes d'un maitre restaurateur. petit déjeuner copieux et a volonté, parking fermé et surveillé. Une très bonne adresse qui mérite le détour.

L'hôtel de la Croix Blanche est vraiment très agréable, un endroit idyllique pour passer un bon séjour rempli de convivialité et de gentillesse... Le personnel est vraiment adorable et aux petits soins... Côté restaurant, le Chef cuisine divinement bien...vos papilles sont en éveil....... Allez-y les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas déçu...

Très bonne adresse le patron a beaucoup d'humour la table est excellente le petit déjeuner copieux. Idéalement situé sur une place pavée proche de l'abbaye. Chambre confortable et calme. Nous y retournons. Le Dr en Pliologie Opticien Plombier 🤗

A fuir avec une Box !! Ne respecte pas ce que propose la box, surtout pour le dîner. Il était noté 2 plats dans le menu et on nous a proposé un crédit de 20€. Autant dire qu’à 20€ on a 1 plat à peine … Équipe de l’accueil agréable contrairement au chef de salle du dîner . La chambre est pas mal mais manque d’un rafraîchissement. Je ne le conseillerais pas à mes amis. Dommage car l’établissement en extérieur est assez sympa. Vu joint les photos d’une chambre soit disant refaite….

The reception staff were super helpful before and during our stay, advising us how to get to the hotel from the nearest train station (and recommending a cab company since they needed to be ordered in advance). We were warmly welcomed and super pleased with our rooms, which were beautiful, modern, well thought-out and very comfortable. The lounge areas were cozy and reflected the historic building that houses the hotel. Our dinner in the peaceful courtyard linking the hotel with its adjoining restaurant was delicious, and the service friendly. The breakfast buffet next morning was extensive and included cook-your-own soft-boiled eggs and the best croissants, plus (house-made?) lox salmon. The only downside was that the hot weather required us to sleep with our windows open. Unfortunately, this subjected us to the noise from the restaurant kitchen as the staff finished tidying up after closing. If we'd been able to keep our windows closed, it wouldn't have been an issue.
Other than that, I can't say enough good things about this delightful hotel.
