Trying to give local hotel some business, despite unable to sit in. Freezing outside, it is only 1 May, and this is Scotland. Chose what looked like warmest table. List of instructions on small table, sanitiser, QPR Code, all a put-off. Daughter reluctant as 'freezing'. Went to sit down, manager in mask (outside!) proceeds to start reeling off list of conditions, including QPR code. I point out we are OUTSIDE breathing God's fresh air. Daughter, brainwashed by the school and media, takes umbrage and walks off. Afternoon ruined. Hotel just lost local business and reputation. Hospitality needs to get a grip, it is dead in the water. 'Hospitality' means something, it means comfort, warmth, relaxation. What kind of a 'hospitality' experience was that? And why are they doing QPR codes outside? It is God's fresh air, nae limits. Hospitality is finished.
