Hyatt Place Sugar Land Location is great and the hotel parking is large and free. The surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful, especially the backyard is close to a river and the river is clear. There are many small black groups in the river to play in the river, not afraid of people. In the morning, there are amateurs playing kayaking on the river, so it’s too pleasant.

My husband and I had a great stay here at the Springhill in Sugarland. We came to check out the area beacuase we are moving down here from New England. After a few nights, our flight was cancelled several times because if the storm. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and professional while dealing with us having to extend our stay. They have all worked tirelessly night and day to make sure that everything is running smoothly. Shout out to the entire crew for their friendliness and professionalism during these rough times. We are specifically thankful for Veronica (front desk girl). She was extremely helpful and friendly and was willing to help with whatever the need was. While hanging out in the lobby we witnessed how the crew dealt with isssue that arose and were highly impressed by the entire staff. They all deserve praises and raises for their hard work. I booked a two-queen room on 02/09/2023 using a team member code for a stay on Friday, March 3rd, 2023. I checked in using the Hilton Honors app on 03/02/2023. However, on the morning of 03/03/2023, I received a phone call from Reeta informing me the property did not have two queens available (despite my already checking in) and that I had been given a single king. I told Reeta that we have three guests and needed the two queen beds that I had reserved and checked in with, and was informed they could not accommodate my needs. I then asked Reeta to cancel the reservation since we had yet to arrive, and was told she could not do so since it was reserved online using the team member code... Reeta went on to tell me that I would need to cancel through the app, but the app would not allow me to cancel since I already checked in digitally. Thereafter, I called the Hilton Honors reservation number and was told the property could indeed cancel the reservation, but it would need to be done by a manager. I called back and asked for Reeta, and was informed that Alexis Harlan (assistant GM) was standing there the entire time during our first call. Reeta handed the phone to Alexis, and she said she would cancel my reservation... I received a cancelation confirmation email not long thereafter. While checking my credit card statement on 03/07, I see I was still charged for the room! Thereafter, I called the property to ask for the appropriate credit, only to find out there is no manager on duty. If you plan to stay here, it would be wise to make sure you do your due diligence!

First time here and fell in love with this hotel! Friendly staff, great breakfast options, clean room!! Very convenient location near the Smart Financial Center Stadium and beautiful shopping centers next door.

Very stable, very comfortable

The hotel had some construction going on, but it wasn't terrible. Everything appeared clean and the girl who worked in the evening was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was ok, your basic continental offerings, though the biscuits and gravy were great. The room was very clean. The fridge and microwave were unplugged, but that was easy enough to manage. Our only complaint was the bed. It was like sleeping on a pallet of bricks. It was awful. I'm not usually the type to complain about a mattress, but we both agreed this was insanely uncomfortable and made it hard to sleep. Otherwise, nice place.

It was recommended by a local friend for a business trip. It met my requirements for safety, cleanliness, quietness and convenience. There are large shopping malls and many restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Henry, the younger brother at the front desk, is super nice and patiently helps answer various questions, inquire about travel plans, etc. The only downside is the air conditioner, which makes too much noise when it works, and it didn't stop for a long time, so I had to turn it off.
