North Cliff Hotel

The adjacent walking trails along the coastline wells awesome! The WiFi was weak and cell service was also, but that wasn’t our point of being there, the rest of the experience was great!

First off, the room was AMAZING. Took full advantage of hot tub with beautiful view of the ocean. The bed was comfy and big, everything in the room was very clean and they offered a lot of complimentary stuff. Such as shampoo, water bottles and comfy little spa robes. The service at the front desk was very helpful and super friendly. I arrived around 1 pm knowing check in was at 3 but decided to see if maybe our room was ready. The girl in front was very helpful and asked housekeeping if it was ready and even told me if we gave her about 15 min it'll be done. Super nice would definitely stay here again and hopefully with more than just two nights. 10/10!!

hotel was a great find! It is very cozy with the fireplace and other extra amenities.All of the rooms (even the bottom floor) have a great view of the ocean. Only drawback, no elevator and a lot of stairs.

Excellent hotel right on the water. Staff is always so friendly and helpful every time we go here. The rooms are very clean and have all the amenities you could need. The fireplace and bathtub are perfect. This hotel is so close to everything. The beds are soft With lots of blankets and pillows. The furniture is comfortable. TV works great and there are always movies available to watch. Thick bathrobes are provided for you during the stay, and I love that. This is definitely a gem!

I checked out several properties online in the Fort Bragg area before booking the North Cliff Hotel. It was an excellent decision - confirmed when my wife and I got to Fort Bragg and checked in to the North Cliff. We had a Top Floor King Suite, with balcony, fireplace, sitting area, comfy bed - and amazing ocean view. That view: that's what we were here for. The staff were friendly and helpful, there were plentiful grab-and-go breakfast choices, including healthy options. There's a wide path (old dirt road) that leads alongside the hotel down to the harbor, so you don't need to drive to the restaurants in the harbor. There's another paved path just north of the North Cliff Hotel's driveway that is part of an extensive coastal walking/biking trail through Noyo Headlands Park and beyond. We checked out the other hotels we'd seen online; they seemed nice, but the North Cliff Hotel was clearly the best of the bunch. It appears that all the rooms have great views of the ocean. Note that there are no elevators to the rooms, all seem to require stairs. We were in the middle of the property and could hear a bit of traffic from the highway when the balcony door was open. I suspect rooms farther south, closer to the highway, might hear the traffic more. But the surf and wind drown out the traffic and it's usually cool in Fort Bragg, so this might not be an issue. With the windows closed, it was quiet.
