Well there was a forced 200$ deposit before bbeing allowed to check in and the pool is closed whixh was the whole reason for booking a room and then the front desk guy was not easy to deal with overall horrible experience the room is nice though

Not given advance warning about the pool being closed. When asked at checkout about if they give discounts since I paid for a price with a pool, the worker was rude and did not even look at me. I was very polite in how I asked and was very offended with his rudeness. He told me "I don't know what to tell you. Everyone else was told." And kept his eyes on his computer the entire time. Very unimpressed with how he handled the situation.

Very cozy atmosphere... a step up from run if the mill chain hotel. There is a lodge theme in the decorations and furnishings, but in a good way. Visited in December and There were lovely decorations and a hot chocolate bar in the lobby! (There is also a Starbucks machine 24 hrs). There are water features in the lobby that look like waterfalls and a river. Cool wood stools. The bathroom has whitewashed pine, resin leaf sink, and copper faucets... a little more thought than the basic white hotel bathroom. Also was a bit cheaper than the Super 8 nearby. A block from Boston Pizza and accros from Tim Hirtons. I was pleasantly surprised and I definately recommend!

Rooms were very nice and clean. Pool area was clean and comfortable. Staff was awesome. Gave us recommendations on where to visit and were very hospitable.

The bedding was slightly damp, and there was a used washcloth hanging in the shower. Despite those this place is absolutely amazing

It was a last minute decision to come watch my grandson play in the hockey tournament. And I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. The location for the fast food restaurants is good, Walmart is close by and Tim Horton’s is right across the street.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The one thing we missed was that there was no longer a restaurant in the hotel. We will stay again!
