Aloft Fort Lauderdale Airport

We basically lost a day of our vacation today due to the AC not being cool enough last night. Miserable nights sleep.

When we got to the hotel (on time), the room was not ready. We were told to wait on the roof deck. That was fine because there was bar up there. But when we got there the bar was not open. So we had basically nothing to do while waiting for our room. So we had to take a walk down the road and cross a very busy road to go somewhere for food and drink. When we finally got our room a couple hours later (no discount for the missing hours we had no access to the room of course), the room was cute and clean. There was no lock on the bathroom door. At night we went down to the bar, as did everyone else staying there, and there was only one bartender/waitress for everyone which made service extremely slow. When it was time for sleep the light would not go out. We had to sleep with the light on all night. But other than that it was great!! LOL

Everyone was polite and friendly and my room was perfect. It was clean and modern. The bathroom was huge The shuttle was great also.

The Aloft's location near the airport and cruise port is convenient. Their airport shuttle arrived fast and was comfortable. Staff at check-in are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the space you need for one night. Our room was comfortable and quiet with beautiful views. They had cruise port transportation service available for purchase in the lobby and we took advantage. The front desk offered restaurants in walking distance we could dine at. We would stay here again if we cruise out of Port Everglades.

I really enjoyed my stay here! I booked two rooms before heading out on a cruise and again when we returned, both stays were excellent. The hotel is clean, quiet, and the staff is very friendly. Jeffery at the front desk was amazing and helped me several times with both reservations. I truly appreciate the great customer service and will definitely stay here again!

Stayed one night before a cruise. Excellent service, clean rooms and great location if you're cruising. Retro vibe and comfortable beds would recommend
