One of the worst experiences during check in, starting by being badly treated by valet parking guys once explained we'll park by ourselves, then at the reception by not interested girl that wanted to take double payment. Totally different experience during check out - another girl was super kind but promised an invoice was never sent to us.
Hotel is nice, well located, but do not expect nothing really particular

Bahia Mar was a nice hotel. Check in was easy and the room itself was comfortable. There is an extra daily fee called Resort Fee Amenities that we were surprised to see at check out. I’d definitely suggest to ask about this to avoid a shock later on.

The location was great because it was right off the beach but it wasn’t as great the experience. First they have hidden charges they don’t tell you online when you are booking the hotel, you only find out about the charge right when you finish paying (like the hotel $40 fee) and when you are checking in they charge $48 for mandatory valet service if the $42 self parking is full.
Additionally, we thought we were going to say in the big building as shown in the picture but no they made up stay in a smaller building across the parking lot.
The rooms do not look like they do in the pictures, they are a lot smaller and not that nice.
Overall I didn’t enjoy the hotel at all but now I know for next time

The hotel is located in a nice location and beach front.
The main issues are being a very old building and there is only valet parking.
Also there are additional fees for everything. Breakfast does not worth $35 (without tip/service)
