Ocean Reef Hotel

During our trip through Florida, we had the pleasure of staying one night at the Ocean Reef Hotel, and it was truly a great experience. Upon arrival, we found the reception closed, but it wasn’t long before a very friendly lady came to assist us with check-in. She had just gone out to grab a bite to eat, which is completely understandable – everyone needs food! Once we got to our hotel room, we were pleased to find it clean, well-maintained, and above average in size. Although there were a few minor maintenance issues, what mattered most was that the beds were extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. After checking in, we went out for a meal, but upon returning, we discovered that the parking lot was nearly full, making it difficult to find a spot. Without even needing to ask, a very helpful staff member on the night shift immediately resolved the issue by assigning us a great parking space near the entrance. This thoughtful service made a huge difference. Throughout the night, this gentleman also conducted a round of checks, which gave us a great sense of security. The hotel itself was quiet, and we had a restful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities, including the toilet and shower, were also impeccably clean. In the morning, when we checked out, the same lady who helped us with check-in was there again, and once more, we were greeted with kindness and a friendly smile. This hotel is definitely a place I would return to during a Florida road trip. I highly recommend it and want to thank the staff for their excellent care. It’s absolutely a place to revisit.

It’s a great location but the rooms are very old feeing. It’s infested with cockroaches and the woman at the fent desk (black hair heavy set ) is the owner and she’s always extorting money out of people .. online you can book a room for $85 but u go to her in person she’s charging u $130 and if you check in early she wants $30 extra oh and I’m not checking into my room for 2 hours yet , use the toilet and it floods out my room and she charged me $50. But I’m the one who had to sit around HALF OF FHE DAY WIRH PISS WATER ALL OVER MY FLOORS and the maintenance man coming in and out for 3 hours . I should have been compensated for thr 5 hours of ******** but of course she ain’t gonna cough uo on no money. Anyways it’s straight and she takes cash

The room was okay, but I didn’t like how there was a bit of mold inside the shower and the bottom tub was dirty. The sink as well.

Parking was good. AC was cool. No issues other then multiple locations nearby with the same or similar name causing confusion for my Uber driver.

The parking was assessable, ac worked great, staff wasn’t to attentive was handling personal business while guest were trying to check in. There was hair in the bed, pillow cases had hair and dirty marks, sheets were stained, blanket was dirty with burn holes, washcloth dirty marks. When new linens were brought back the was no flat sheet and no blanket. Was a little bit cold at night, barely slept because of it.

The room and hotel is infested with roaches. I had to be moved to another room and again roaches everywhere so i checked out. Stay away from this hotel

Room was clean, area was busy and cars noisy. Very convenient location. Neighbors were loud, fighting, and playing music loudly, we were grateful we had limited time in our room. We only spoke to one staff, she was kind and knowledgeable with lots of recommendations. Encountered lots of cleaning staff and they were really nice, they were working very hard! Pretty typical for the price point and last minute accommodations. Wasn’t a bad stay, probably won’t go back, I’d pick a less busy part of the *****

Staff was nice and helpful. Area not So great. Hotel Is older and shows its age. Beds were clean and comfortable.

The room was disgusting. Hair all over the floor and bathroom shower. Stains on the bed sheets. I tried talking to the front desk agent to have room cleaned. She tried to explain to me that that’s how the broom works. It doesn’t actually pick up the hair it just pushes it to the corners. I asked if they could vacuum it up she said they didn’t have a vacuum. The fact that she was trying to justify that that’s how they clean was horrendous! I tried canceling hotel but they would not let me. I have to go to Walgreens and buy both Lysol wipes and spray. I don’t believe this room had been cleaned at all. DO NOT STAY HERE!! Not worth the cheap price.
