Hotel Bethel - Fort MacLeod, AB

We arrive very late and just needed to sleep for a few hours. No issues checking in or out. The bed was clean and made nicely. The room had been updated but was still worn. The tub was dirty and there was hair on the bath mat. Not as nice as hoped but it was convenient for sleeping.

The heater sounded like a jet engine and kept waking me up whenever it switched on.

Once again, the survey is in Spanish. This hotel was very nice. The agent at the desk, very friendly. The room was very comfortable, except for the AC. Isn’t it wasn’t turned on prior to my arriving and the room was hot. I had a difficult time turning the AC on, but once I did, i was able to enjoy the room. The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet, and the little details such as glass tumblers has me want to visit again, the next time I’m in town.

Had a wonderful stay at the Bethel Hotel in Fort Macleod. Was clean, the bed was comfortable and the service excellent. Only suggestion would be to have a drop box to leave our key as we left early. Would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom was not very handicapped friendly. No grab bars in tub surround or ant-slip mat for tub.

The young man at the front was very nice and accommodating. When we first arrived we were pleasantly surprised, given the reasonable price, but within hours we found several ants, beetles, and long crawly things. I am not the type that freaks out over a few bugs, but this was too much. This needs to be addressed (possibly fumigated?). Also, better locks are required on the doors.

Adequate accommodations in a good-size room. Neighborhood was noisy with people yelling from their cars, speeding down the street. We arrived after 10 p.m. with a reservation for 3. By the time we unloaded and realized there were no sheets for the futon bed or towels for a third person, the office was closed and no one would answer the bell. In the morning, I was able to get another towel from the rather disgruntled desk agent from the night before, who said I should have told him the reservation was for three people. Really? Wasn't it his job to have the room ready for three people since that is what we reserved? He was quick enough to charge a pet fee but did not refund us the difference between a 2-person room and a 3-person room, though we clearly were not given those accommodations.
