Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Mitchell Cincinnati Area

I stayed there for a night as a stopover for our travel. The king room was okayish. I have visited a better hotel with a lower price. The room had a bad smell. The restroom had a scent, too. Breakfast was okay. But that's okay, considering the price.

Limited parking, tiny breakfast area, interstate traffic and neighbors were super loud…rooms in bad condition

The young man who checked us in was great! However, this place needs some serious updating in the form of lamps with plug-ins to charge devices. You have to search for a free plug, and they're hard to find -- I had to unplug the hair dryer. My husband was stressed by marks on the sheets that apparently were bleach, but still, they unsettled him. I was satisfied the sheets were clean, but the bleach left weird marks. Bring earplugs. The highway can be heard, and I heard a train. I slept well, but if you're sensitive to noise, you'll need earplugs.

One of the worst experiences we had with going to places to stay for a night or two.. First and for most is the microwave I had. We couldn’t microwave anything because of how the top was rusting so little bit of rust will just drop onto of your food. It’s very unsettling and unsafe. We had to use a paper towel just to make sure none gets onto the food. (Which wasn’t that effective) And don’t get me started on the darn BUGS. On our first night coming, we had to kill two bugs that were crawling on the ceiling. It still creeps me out to this day how I slept with that. and the last of it, the door lock. The most important thing in the place that wasn’t even working. The lock wasn’t working which made us feel evening more uncomfortable and unsafe. Let alone the microwave rusting and making it almost impossible to microwave food items without getting rust particles onto your food. 1/5 from my experience were I went. I expected at least living conditions, but I guess you can’t win them all sometimes can we?

As soon as I checked in, I immediately turn on the water to make sure it's hot because I've had problems here before well surprisingly their wasn't any a maintenance man was outside and we asked him if the hot water would be on soon, be hesitated to answer, I called down to the lobby and the rude woman said it would be fixed in 30 minutes I was their for two days without hot water!

This Super 8 property didn't meet my expectations, based on my previous experiences at other Super 8 locations.

The room smelled like poop. I got a hotel 2 miles away & checked out of the *******-booked Super 8 immediately. I’d like a full refund for the night I paid for, since I didn’t stay.
