Dirty, smelly, crappy, awful. Got the picture? Got a suite so we could have drinks with friends. So first issue, you enter through the bedroom to the small sitting area. So it's basically a studio layout with the bed in front of the door. Then the smell, I hope it was just mildew from the damp room but every time the in the wall AC kicked on the smell was twice as bad. Would never go back or recommend to anyone I like.

The Neptune is a great place to stay ideally positioned on Fort Myers beach. It's a great starting place for walking to times square and the local bars and restaurants and walks along the beach. The complex itself is spotlessly clean with two pools and a nice seating area. The reception staff were friendly and helpful giving us useful information about the local area. The room was a basic suite again very clean and comfortable with a small cooking area, a TV and a settee and a comfortable bed. We hope all the staff who made our short stay so memorable are safe and well following the hurricane.

Agradecemos mucho a The Neptune, y en particular a Jaime, quienes nos atendieron de la mejor forma. Sin duda volveremos! El lugar fue increíble. La comodidad de estar al lado de la playa. La limpieza de la habitación. Felicitaciones!!

We planned to stay 2 nights, and we ended up staying the whole week! Excellent place, location is the best. Out of he room into the pool or straight to the beach. Quiet, relaxing, quaint. The option of gas bbqs was also fantastic. Jamie was polite and helpful! Drew always with a smile ready to solve any situation. Will be back next year for sure.

Quiet, quaint and relaxing. I absolutely needed this staycation. Jamie and Gypsie helped at every step with everything I needed. The property is right on the beach. The car is parked right by the room where I can see it. This is my new local getaway--you can walk to bars, restaurants and a convenience store right across the street! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Fantastic hotel. Jamie was exceptional with her customer service assisting in helping our son and girlfriend change rooms. The team including her manager Aaron went over and above for us. Our room is fabulous. Beach front with gorgeous views, kitchenette, large closet area and great bath. Percs….the pools are splendid, refrigerator, coffee, tea or hot cocoa all complimentary. The beach is flawless with powder sand and fabulous wildlife up close and personal including dolphins in the early am, sea rays in the morning that swim right up to you, shelling and birds! The property is super clean and offers many beach chairs, lounge chairs, there are palm trees for shade and loungers with thick cushions and tables. Great area for cocktails and games. Beds were comfy with extra pillows and multiple outlets. CONS….we have to leave soon. We’ve loved every minute here. Thank you Jamie and team!

I understand it was labor day weekend but I paid $1400 to check in Friday evening and check out Monday morning. I did not get what I paid for. Our "suite" was supposed to be for 6 people. Did they think we were driving all together in a clown car? I was charged $25 A NIGHT for the 2nd couple checking in. The room was awful. It smelled like mold. For 6 people, we were given a tiny bottle of shampoo, a tiny bottle of conditioner and a a piece of soap the size of a dime. Housekeeping is every 4th day. If you want towels, you need to go down to the office and request the towels yourself and give them your dirty towels. THE LIVING ROOM WAS ROASTING HOT. There is no fan in the living room. You need to leave the bedroom open just to get air circulating. We checked in Friday night and it did not cool off in the living room until we ran the air for almost 24 hours. Please believe all the reviews that state the beds are horrible. The bed is a marshmallow that sinks in the middle and the pillows are lumpy jello with no shape. I had to pack the pillowcase with throw pillows from the stained couch of our "suite" to get any shape at all. I slept terribly three nights straight and even after a night in my own bed, my back still hurts. There are NO umbrellas on beach. I was charged an additional $25 a day for a resort fee. This is not to be confused with the $25 per night parking fee. I paid $75 to pick up a beach chair, walk very far to the shore and then have to lug that chair up myself back up to the resort. Once I was on my chair, I only lasted an hour since this is Florida and you would need an umbrella to sit comfortably. This is not a resort. It is a motel. It has one ice machine that works. The other one is quickly drained by 9:00 am and no one in the office would give me a cup of ice from the staff room. There is no restaurant, no food. There is free coffee and tea and room temperature water with no ice. The lounge sofas and chairs are all stained. They are located by the office and between the two pools. There is no hot tub here. The wi-fi is not high speed. I thought I could work but the wi-fi was so slow I just logged off. When you check out, Jamie requested me to write a positive trip advisor review mentioning Gipsy or Jaime. I never met Jaime before my checkout Monday morning and since Gipsy could not even be bothered to take out her earbuds out long enough to help me find ice, I do not feel I should write her a positive review either. Perhaps if I had paid $400 a night, I would not feel so ripped off but I paid $1,400. For a room that had no fan or air circulating. For no umbrellas provided in the brutal Florida sun. To lug my own beach chair to the sand and back. To use the same towel for 4 days. To not have any toiletries besides the small, meager offering at check in for 6 people!!! I would never stay in this motel again, even if it was free.

Front desk Jamee was so helpful getting my parents an accessible room. She is pleasant as are all the staff members we have seen so far. Great location on the beach and within walking distance to food.
