We had a good four day stay … we loved our room it had lots of space and pool area was nice and the business was complete with fresh fruit and yogurt and the staff was very friendly … would stay again

Toilet, overflowed overnight then there was 2 inches of water in the bathroom smells like sewage. Residence inns answer to us was to give us a 5000 points towards a bon voyage account which I find totally unacceptable A total refund of the room charge would be more like it.

The room was fine, clean and in a newer condition and the 2 beds were good. The sofa bed was small. The breakfast was really nice, in almost new premises, as hurricane Ian was hard on the hotel in the summer of 2022.

A bit different from the usual Residence Inn experience but I can’t put my finger on it. Might be owned by a management company after the hurricane. Though spot with not a ton around - area still recovering. Nice pool, but rooms are a bit odd shaped and laid out uneven, which was the style years back. Needs new bedding and more towels. New Mattresses. The AC unit is crazy loud in the wall and blows right on the bed. Front attendants are really nice. Close to Sanibel island without being on it and paying those prices - if you can even find a hotel there. Solid choice for the price if you want to be near Sanibel. But, won’t blow you away. Free parking. Spotty internet.

My biggest concern was that my room had a lot of wear and tear. Although I had a coffee maker, there was no actual coffee carafe to make the coffee in. The cabinet door to the trash under the sink wouldn't close completely. The door between the living area and the bathroom/dressing room didn't actually fit the opening and could not be closed. The air conditioning unit, right next to the bathroom, as so loud when it ran I ended up basically trying to limp along without A/C. Wall paper in several areas was peeling off the walls.

Recently renovated since hurricane Ian and nice looking hotel. We also got a room upgrade to a bigger room which was great. Excellent hot breakfast- scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, make your own Belgian waffles, oa**eal, toast/danishes, fruit, cereal etc. lovely front desk staff, they also gave complimentary sangria and fresh baked cookies daily. Forgot our toothpaste at home and was given free toothpaste. Only downside was that our room was not cleaned at all throughout our entire stay, despite us even asking for housekeeping services after realizing it wasn’t cleaned the first day. Not sure why this happened. First time had to call and request towels. Second night all they did when they came in was put clean towels in the room but did not make beds, throw out garbage etc. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were too soft. Good location. There are many stores right next to hotel including a Publix, 7-11, and a gas station. Hotel had a pool, gym, basketball courts etc.

The room was not clean upon arrival. Sheets appeared to be not cleaned from previous guests (hair, *****. dry skin flakes on bottom sheet and several brown looking bugs on mattress protector underneath. Had to ask for new sheets and re-made the bed myself. Room smelled like Sewege all night long, toilet running after being "fixed", carpet definitely not vacuumed as there was paper, plastic, etc pieces everywhere. Pictures online very deceiving and not at all like any other Marriott I've stayed in. Reading the reviews from previous years and seeing there are so many long-standing issues with cleanliness it is obvious they do not care at all.
