Seahorse Beach Bungalows

Avoid this place at all costs. The rooms are so tiny and there is no comfortable furniture. There is no front desk. No maintenance personnel. No housekeeping. You have to do your own housekeeping. No help. The grounds are uneven and just a few walkways. You can’t access with a wheelchair. This motel is run by people in Columbia. It is under construction and being remodeled. They will rent you a room whether it’s ready or not. I had no hot water. They won’t refund. Don’t get involved, it’s a mess. They are professional liars.

We needed time away for peace and quiet and got just that ! The place was beautiful , clean , relaxing and the beach was near by . My family and Yorkie loved it . Very private and the bed was nice . They had all amenities , beach chairs as well and wash and dryer too . I will come back . We were on cabin 1 ( surfer Bangolou) perfect for me and my family.

Very shady/questionable business. The manager Nicholas speaks and sounds like a used car salesmen. I could never get a straight answer out of either him or the owners. I was referred to them by a friend who stayed with them last year. My friend showed me his invoice $699 for a month (same time of year) and a 75$ cleaning fee. They wanted to charge me $1550 a month plus a $150 cleaning fee (during the off season no less) for the same accommodations. Their website prices do not reflect their actual prices and have zero consistency. They would not, despite multiple requests for a quote send me a proposed invoice for the cost of my perspective stay. They directed me to text them at a certain number (which is odd) to inquire with further questions, however not once did they respond to those texts. They also wanted half payment upfront (for a nearly 3 month stay!!) site unseen. That is a bit ridiculous! I can see charging a small fee for reservation like ($250) or something but they wanted over $2500 upfront before I even checked in! They also said that they may be in the process of selling the property and so they weren't sure about guaranteeing a price. When I followed up on that they never responded. As a Florida local I can say there are a lot of scam artists here in FL and these guys seem like one of them. Stay away if you value your money! Also the wifi is pretty spotty and slow according to my friend who stayed there, and the "rooms" are very small with average amenities for the price. Expect a few roaches and some odd neighbors too.
