Rodeway Inn Fort Smith I-540

I went there and paid for four nights on 7/13/2021. The room was way in back where you can easily be robbed, there was two dead cockroaches on the floor, the TV did not work and the air conditioner was leaking water all over the floor and not working properly. I immediately went back to front desk and asked for my $$$ back and returned the key and I was told by the African-American Clerk who will not say her name, that there are "No Refunds, and for me to call the manager the next day. I have since left messages for Ustab who is never there or does not return calls. I still have not received the credit back to my credit card. Do not bother wasting your hard-earned money, especially since they will NOT refund immediately.

The only reason we are staying here because it was free with Choice Hotel Points. The sofa is filthy and has duct tape on both cushions. I pull the sofa away from the wall and there was a least a dozen beer bottle cops under it. Evidence of not being swept for a very long time. The bedding is cheap, the sheets are thin and have cigarette burns. The ceiling has water stains, the small refrigerator freeze is frozen solid with frost and has mold inside. Choice should drop this motel.

Would not be a place I would tell my family and friends about the ice machine was so loud you couldn’t hear the man at the desk so it made it to where you had to keep repeating yourself. He was very rude got into the room he gave us there was roaches crawling everywhere and hair in the bathroom on the floor and in the shower the noise from the other guest were very loud the sheets had cigarette burns in them the bed was very uncomfortable I will not stay there at that motel again they took out the sinks and toilets and changed them I think they should have changed and upgraded everything wasn’t very happy

No amenities. No towels. Bed and room smelled. The property was trashy. The bathroom sink lacked an aerator on the faucet. And cockroaches present. Excuse me! I am a retired Journalist (Graduate of an accredited school of Journalism). The best review of anything is a clear picture presented with the fewest words. WFB

This place was horribly filthy with cobwebs all over. The linens were dirty and stained. Floors were unswept and the unsanitary. I seriously considered sleeping in my truck after seeing the room. Probably should have. I’ve stayed in literally hundreds of rooms in my life and this was the worst room ever. When I told the clerk I had a reservation all he said was ID ID and slid a card through the slot. Total communication. Unbelievable!

First room dirty 2nd room. No air conditioning, old tv. This looks like a drug hotel! NEVER AGAIN! This is the worst hotel I've seen in years! Had to switch to a 3rd room because of air conditioning. Almost like the desk person purposely put us in the 2nd room which was a 1980's throwback. Sad case of rooms anyways.

Should be closed and removed from choice listing. A hole worse than a homeless shelter bugs worms on floor,holes in every curtain butts of smoked piled high at every door. Nothing in rooms. Sick nasty hole in the wall leaving soon to another place in town. I have 30 years with choice and if they were all like this I would destroy my point cards and never come close to them agaim
