The environment and food are good. The room facilities are a bit old and the hair dryer is broken.

The room is spacious and there is an electric heater to keep it from getting cold. Attic-style dome windows are very novel. The breakfast was rich and delicious. You must make a reservation for dining in the restaurant, otherwise you will have to wait for a long time. The service is very enthusiastic. The hotel has no laundry service, no slippers, and a hair dryer. The parking lot is large, the hotel has beautiful scenery, and there is a swimming pool.

We had a fantastic break once again. It was very relaxing and we always get such a warm welcome from the staff. The lounge has a fabulous log burner which they kept topped up all day long. It is so picturesque looking out on to the water from our room. The food was delicious and the staff are very attentive.

We loved our stay! We stayed in a superior room and the view is beautiful and the food was delicious, we will be back in the summer for sure. One thing we would say is more toilet roll in the rooms as one is not enough for two nights. This is the only fault we can think of.

A lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Room was massive and very clean, also beautiful views from the room window. Staff were polite and attentive and were so good with my 9 month old daughter who loved crawling about the restaurant/bar in the evening. Most of the staff really went out of their way to chat with her and play with her. Particularly Kay and two female reception staff. The pool was great, very clean and a lovely touch to relax after a busy day hiking. Food in the restaurant was also very nice. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!
