Prom Coast Holiday Lodge
4.7/512 Reviews
This holiday lodge is a gem. Magnificent property, established well kept gardens & luxurious pool. We spent 5 nights in one of the beautifully appointed cottages and wish we could have stayed longer. Comfortable, spotlessly clean and close to nature. The cottages are well screened by mature plants for privacy but interior sight lines connect you to the tranquil views outside. Close proximity to Wilsons Prom, The Great Southern Rail Trail & the beach. Norm is a great host & was very accommodating. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay here and would definitely visit again.
Wilsons Promontory Motel

We went to Wilson promontory national park, so the location of this Motel is very good, about half an hour's drive from the park; we are a three person staying in the room, one big bed and one single bed. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean; parking is free and each room has a parking space, just outside the room door;

Excellent location to explore the area around Wilsons Promontory and wider Gippsland. The Lodge (to be honest it's an upscale motel) has an onsite restaurant which serves reasonably tasty and filling, but not exciting food. Which is a good option, if like us, you've spent the day exploring the area. The room was spacious, the linen clean and fresh. The bathroom although spacious had an open shower which saw water go everywhere. Bed was comfortable. Although it is on the highway it is set back from the road and the rooms are quiet. I will note, my partner asked about seeing wildlife in the immediate area and the staff, although slightly surprised, were more than willing to assist for what was a slightly left of centre request. So full marks for them!
Toora Lodge Motel

We had travelled from the Rochdale near Manchester in the UK to meet and spend time with our daughter and partner and grandkids who live in Melbourne and also brother who lives in Perth. This is not our first time to Australia and not the first time we have been on road trips site seeing. As a family there was four adults and two children, one aged 3 and one aged 6. We had decided to travel from Ormond in Melbourne and visit Wilson s Promontory but did not want to stay to near the promontory. So we decided that Toora would be a good destination and though many places were booked up we were lucky to get two rooms, ours being a double with single bed and my daughters having a double and two bunk beds plus one single, these were at the Tooralodge Motel. 4930 South Gippsland Toora, and we did not regret it one moment. Situated just near the town of Foster yet only a few miles away from Agnes falls (well worth a visit) Toora is in a rural green countryside, with large gardens its set back off the road so easy to miss if going fast but with plenty of space around it has a truly relaxed feel. If you want a brand new state of the art Motel with all gadgets included then this is not for you, and, that is a good thing as here the motel was well established not new but nicely laid out, spotlessly clean and the rooms had all what you would expect from any motel of good standing. The reception was manned by the nicest person I have ever met in a motel or hotel ever, nothing, and I mean nothing was to much trouble, with sensible and useful advice on the surrounding area, a wealth of knowledge and judging from previous reviews on the motel he is a man of consistency, to my shame I have forgotten his name, but please be assured like gusts before I know he will be able to offer you a warm welcome. Prices. We stayed at the beginning of march for two days (two nights) a Friday and Saturday and it cost 600 dollars for all of us, we had expected at least 900 to 1200 elsewhere so this was exactly what we wanted yet with a high standard of service. We intend to take the family back to the Toora Lodge motel when we come back at Christmas, though our daughter says she will be going before. Recommendation indeed. Bob and Ann Morrisey. Manchester.
