Weekend di marzo in questo bellissimo castello, immerso in un parco e impensabile poterlo trovare in una zona quasi ancora centrale della città. La struttura è ben tenuta, si vede che è stata recentemente ristrutturata, con interni tipici, soffitti alti, parquet conservato dell'epoca, camini, torrette non manca niente insomma! A livello di accoglienza niente da dire, personale gentile e disponibile, pero' c'è da sottolineare che l'orario di check-in è molto ristretto (15-21) e la notte non c'è nessuno di guardia. Stesso discorso per il bar, alle 21 chiude. Ad ogni modo si è in possesso di chiavi per poter accedere all'interno. Camera: molto spaziosa, letto enorme king size con topper morbido e confortevole, stesso discorso per il bagno, ampio, con mega doccia e pulito. Peccato per l'arredamento interno e qualche mancanza di troppo. Se è vero che armadi e scrivanie sono si con un design rivolto al passato, in realtà si nota immediatamente che sono moderni e ti fanno dimenticare l'atmosfera quasi fiabesca che si respira all'esterno. Inoltre avremmo gradito molto trovare un bollitore per thè e caffè ed anche un mini frigobar, a maggior ragione che la notte non c'è nessun servizio bar. Anche i comodini non erano molto in sintonia con l'arredo. Colazione: buffet dolce/salato con croissants e pain et chocolat, ma anche torte plumcake vari gusti davveo molto saporiti e dal sapore "fatto in casa". Parte salata con prosciutti e formaggi, pan cake e se non sbaglio anche disponiibiltà di chiedere uova/frittata al momento. Nota ahimè negativa per le bevande, abbiamo chiesto due cappuccini e ci sono arrivate due brocche!!! Due brocche dove all'interno c'era di tutto tranne che un classico cappuccino! era tipo una soluzione solubile tipo Nescafè! Anche i caffè, chiesti due espressi ristretti e sono arrivati due beveroni enormi! In conclusione, bellissima esperienza e sopratutto sorpresa ben riuscita per festeggiare il compleanno di mia moglie. Peccato per queste piccole mancanze, ma soprattutto la location avrebbe tutto a disposizione per essere un 5 stelle, anche pagando qualcosa di più, ed invece ha servizi da 3 stelle come d'altronde specificato sul sito. Ma ci tornerei oggi stesso!

Super calme, et surper literie ! Je n’hésiterai pas à y revenir. Petit Bémol pour le petit déjeuner, un peu cher (18€) pour ce qu’il y a (pas de lait à disposition, il faut le demander et une ribambelle de confiture qui a mon avis n’ont pas lieu d’etre)

Endroit charmant Nous sommes venus 3 fois séjourner à l'hôtel, une fois au pavillon et 2 fois au Château. Le personnel est très accueillant et souriant .... Merci au Chef Frédérique, pour le Menu qu'il a spécialement concocté pour le plus beau jour de notre vie. Ce fut un vrai délice, de l'apéritif au dessert.... Il a vraiment répondu à nos attentes. Et de plus, les plats ont été tous bien présentés. Et un grand merci pour nous avoir fait redécouvrir le vin "Le canon fronsac" un pur nectar. . Nous y retournerons. Merci

Une seule serviette dans les chambres nous étions deux idem chausson eau . Le repas du mariage était au dessous de tout. Et alors la facture soit disant des boissons supplémentaires nous n'avons eu aucun renseignement quant à la quantité prévue dans les accords et surtout pas d'information lorsque soi-disant le quota était dépassé Je ne le recommande pas

J'étais invité au mariage de mon cousin. J'ai appris que les mariés avaient dû payer des suppléments de boissons en fin de repas pour 574 euros, alors que je suis témoin qu'aucune information ait été donnée pour prévenir que le "forfait" était déplacé. Nous avons proposé de ne régler ces suppléments qu'au prix coûtant (le château n'aurait ainsi rien perdu), mais nous avons essuyé un refus catégorique. Donc fuyez ou négociez bien avant de vous engager pour éviter ce genre d'arnaque.

Lovely chateau with the best pillows ever...beautiful building inside out. The covers could perhaps have been for summer as the were very warm and heavy. Great breakfast with many choices. There was a minor sewage odor in the bathroom.
