The location and size are great, but the service is nothing to write home about.

The bed is quite big. Except that the air conditioner in the room is a bit cold, everything is good. It is close to Sbahn but not noisy and very safe.

Positive: Extra pillows could be provided. Negative: Unfortunately it is very loud and very dirty. Every few minutes a freight train rattles past near the hotel, unless it is the tram. There is also a construction site in front of and next to the hotel. Our request for a quiet room was ignored and we were given the room facing the street. There was a high pile carpet which was unfortunately very dirty. A double room was a twin room. The fittings in the bathroom have limescale and more verdigris than chrome. The toilet could use a thorough cleaning, as could the whole hotel. Walls are stained and partly dirty. The safe was not available at all. I will definitely not book here again. The location is well connected to local transport, but very questionable given the proximity to the train station and a more or less kiosk-like drinking hall nearby. Breakfast is served in the basement. The staff there are busy with themselves. So don't expect anything and don't disturb them when the staff are eating, sitting and chatting in the breakfast area, or whatever. Conclusion: It's OK with hearing and vision problems (wink). Oh yes, you also have to look for a working light switch for the room. The telephone was also broken, probably so that you couldn't just ask reception to fix the problem. The mattress was at least comfortable. Otherwise, close your eyes, put in your earplugs and then look forward to going home. Don't the staff notice all these problems? Oh yes, the icing on the cake was the wild knocking on the door at 7:50 on a Saturday when they wanted to make up the room.
