Clean, cheap, central placement close to the main station. No bells and whistles, somewhat run down, not bad by any means. I can recommend it due to its price point and would stay there again for a trip.

The hotel is located near the HBF and easy to go to every where. There is a small Rewe in front of the hotel. The hotel quite old then everything look not hygiene but not dirty. I got some smell that made me dizzy a bit like Indian oil because i opened windows all night. The service staffs are good. There don’t have free drink water bottles in the room just only towel and soap at the toilet. At night i prefer to stay at the hotel because many homeless people are walking at there and some look like got drunk.

Nice little hotel close to main station with all long distance and local trains as well as subway and tram lines. Rooms are very small, but clean. Nice and helpful staff. The area around central station is , well, strange. But the hotel is in a side-street, so no real problem.

The facilities and hygiene are average. There are many homeless people on the street next to the door at night. 3 stars on Ctrip⭐Post and Telecom is high, maybe 2 stars or 2 and a half stars. It is not recommended for girls to stay here alone. Boys don't matter.

The hotel is relatively poor and the price/performance ratio is not high There is no elevator, and it is troublesome to carry luggage upstairs. The service of the front desk staff is mediocre. The building is relatively old. I obviously booked a double bed room, but I was actually given the standard room for two beds. The water bottles left by other customers in the room were not taken away.

Being close to the station is the biggest advantage. However, due to poor security near Jungang Station, it may be dangerous for women to walk around alone late at night. It's also a pity that there is no air conditioning.

The location is good and the price is right. I will continue to consider it next time :)

There are no facilities at all, and the room is completely out of specification, please be messed up! Even the towels are not changed every day! The important thing is that one day I found out that I can replace the used towel for me, and the price is too expensive for the quality! The front desk staff asked nine out of ten questions!

The receptionist created rules to scam me. The receptionist (a woman with blond hair) tried to scam me by making up rules at late night. During my stay, my guest came over for a few hours during the day since it was a rainy day. The woman at the reception said, "You are not allowed to bring guests over or you have to pay 100 EUR for that". She was lying since she was avoiding eye contact, moving around, picking up stuff, pointing at different objects and mentioned that wasn't her idea to charge me but her colleague. Then she said, "But I will reduce it to 20 EUR and you have to pay now". At the moment I understood it was a scam yet I had to pay to avoid further conflict which would destroy my whole trip. I checked everywhere on the regulations of the hotel and nowhere mentioned that I have to pay for a visit of a guest during the day. This experience is one of the worst experiences, 20 EUR is not that big yet I don't want to run into it, disgusting behaviour and unacceptable. I'd love to mention this to make sure other people don't run into the same issue which would turn off their travel experience. After all, I would NOT recommend this hotel Carlton to anyone who plans to stay here.
