I find the hotel is very quiet and super location for going every way also the breakfast is super nice the price is bit high but I like is all fresh food, also the reception man and the light shift Ali both of them is very helpful, they are great service and help me to get a prefect room !! I will stay again

Booked this hotel by chance. The room was clean and in a great location, about ten minutes' walk from Zell Street. The parking lot is behind the lobby, but the parking lot was under construction at the time and was parked elsewhere.

Similar to a Premier Inn. Clean and comfortable bed, friendly service from the staff. Perhaps a little dated in parts but a good place to stop for the night. Well located to central Frankfurt and the on site parking felt safe and secure. Best wishes from Scotland.

The main lobby is not air-conditioned and it was very unpleasant. We arrived very early and although I understand our room would be available at 4 I asked if there was a possibility of getting into a room earlier. It was just "no". He didn't offer to check. Just "no". We came back at 3 and again asked if by chance something might be available since the lobby was too hot to wait in and we were exhausted from the over night flight. Again "no". I then asked if they could just cancel our reservation as we wanted to go elsewhere and just like magic his said I'll check on your rooms and luckily they were both available. My point is they were unwilling to even try and were completely stuck on the rules. With customer service it just seems like they could have tried. There was a loud noise in one of our rooms and we recored it. I'm not sure where it was coming from but it was every few seconds. I brought the recording down to the front desk and they notified the manager that tried to give me the excuse of city noise. It was not from outside it was from in the building. So they offered me a discount on a return visit. Worst customer service ever. I would not stay here.

Unfortunately this did not turn out to be a great hotel. Parking was very hard and expensive. Breakfast was very expensive. It seems like they want to just make money while not offering much. I am sure there are better places to stay in Frankfurt.

Breakfast here was of very good quality with an excellent choice and certainly the best we enjoyed on our trip to Germany. The hotel, although centrally located is not situated in the best area. The room was comfortable and spacious although the shower did not work very well. We were disappointed to find that our room was not cleaned after the first night of our two-night stay and there was no apology forthcoming or any recompense other than the offer of a drink at the bar which we declined. After collecting fresh towels from Reception we were informed that housekeeping had come to our room that morning at 10.00 but we were still in it, which was untrue. We had eaten breakfast and left the hotel by 10.00 to go sightseeing. As we were required to pay in full prior to arrival at the hotel there was little we could do. It certainly did not leave us with a very good impression.

Rooms on 6th floor located to the street with tram stop in the front have windows with noise reduction but during the day not really calm. Very poor WIFI if your room ( 608/609/610) is between the 2 repeaters - than poor luck with connection. One additional rep would solve the problem. Dear Mainhaus team, We would like to thank you for the wonderful and definitely unforgettable stay, which will definitely remain in our hearts. And EVERY employee of this hotel is responsible for that. For all those who are interested in staying in the hotel, I would like to list why this should definitely happen: We spontaneously booked a night in business class on the 6th floor. From the booking with a great offer, to the reception, the parking spaces and the room, everything went smoothly. The room may be smaller, but it is cozy and completely sufficient for a short vacation. The toilet and shower are separate, which we found very advantageous. Air conditioning and heating are available. We were located right next to the tram and a certain amount of noise is unavoidable when you deliberately choose a central location. With earplugs you could hear 0.0 and the night in the really super super comfortable beds was fantastic. The breakfast was perfect for me as a vegetarian. Healthy, plentiful, varied, regional (thanks to the hotel's own honey from its own bees ❤️), unique (there is a pancake station and a juicer for fresh juices). Everyone will be full here. Another plus point was that no food is thrown away and people outside the hotel have the option of picking up leftover breakfast using the Goodtogo app. A big compliment here for sustainability and the responsible handling of food. The beautiful, stylish flower decoration, which is changed weekly by the hotel manager, was also fantastic. We could hardly get enough of it. And now we come to the heart of the hotel: the staff. They really are people with hearts. A huge one, in fact. No processing of hundreds of changing hotel guests, all of whom remain anonymous, but the individual interest in looking after the needs of each and every guest. Empathy, warmth and authenticity are very important here. And you won't find that in a large hotel chain, but in a "family" run hotel, where people count, not the masses. Where the staff see themselves as a big family and treat themselves as such. Everything is on an equal footing! And you can feel it. The staff at the bar, at reception, at breakfast, in the room and kitchen service, as well as the chefs themselves were all simply wonderful. And that was the reason we spontaneously extended the night. We got a great deal, were allowed to stay in the room and were spoiled by the kitchen in the evening. There is passion in every bite here. A visit to the restaurant with a beautiful industrial/robust room setting offers a great ambience with a small, simple but excellent menu. Small and perhaps even larger special requests are very well taken care of here.

Unfortunately, a nice hotel overshadows the total incompetence of the staff... The promised extra bed was suddenly not available - the rude reaction of the receptionist: he had not promised me and my call would not count. After all, he had nothing in writing. No approach to a solution - but I could have booked another room - for a fee! - in which I, as a single traveller, could have let my 8-year-old, 6-year-old or 4-year-old child sleep alone. Another problem: the "double" bed is actually just two single beds pushed together, which cannot be connected. Unfortunately, this also makes "sleeping in the visitor gap" impossible... Most of the photos shown here only show the more expensive Business and Deluxe (floors 6 & 7) rooms, not the Economy (floor 5) which price-conscious customers will choose. I stayed in one of these Economy rooms and will therefore be reviewing this one. The lobby is nice and new, but you have to lower your expectations for an Economy room because the rooms may be new but don't look that fancy. The room size was okay, there was only one place to sit in the double bed room. The bed is incredibly low and has one pillow that is thin and hardly supports anything and one that is extremely thick and provides a lot of support, unfortunately there is no one in between :( The noise is actually a problem if you are sensitive, I was eventually able to fall asleep. I didn't have breakfast, but it looked good from a distance.

Nach mehrfachen Besuchen im Restaurant „mainhaus Stadthotel Frankfurt“, bei denen ich mich von der ideenreichen Küche überzeugen konnte, habe ich meinen runden Geburtstag dort gefeiert. Alles war absolut gut und stimmig; alle meine Gäste waren begeistert. Die gebotenen Speisen sowie die ausgewählten und kredenzten Weine waren fabelhaft. Zum Bedauern aller mussten wir leider einen Teil des Büfetts zurücklassen. Es war einfach zu reichhaltig und das uns unterbreitete Angebot, die Speisen vor dem Abräumen einzupacken, haben wir leider in unserer Feierlaune nicht wahrgenommen. Der Service war durchweg freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Besser kann man Gäste nicht bewirten. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt und gerne wieder.

Die Zimmer in der 5. Etage gehen z.T. zur Straße raus und sind sehr laut. Erst recht, da sie keine Klimaanlage haben und man das Fenster auflassen muss. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen.
