My husband and I stayed three nights at the Harpeth Franklin Downtown Hotel in early May to celebrate our 20-year anniversary. The hotel's location in the heart of downtown Franklin made it convenient to walk around the area and visit the shops and restaurants. The staff provided excellent customer service, and we loved having the coffee shop on site. The valet parking team was prompt and courteous. Parker's professional and friendly service made the valet experience pleasant. The room accommodations were excellent and spacious. If you want a short getaway with a significant other, this hotel will offer the perfect experience.

My girlfriend Cathy and I came to Franklin to look at relocating with our husbands so we were hesitant with hotel selections because of “unchartered territory” for us. Natalie booked our rooms, informed us, and promised us that we would be in a quiet section to settle my nerves from the effects of recent squatters in my home brought in by an unscrupulous contractor. Our stay at the Harpath was excellent medicine for my soul. From the smiles of Parker and James in valet helping with our vehicle to the warmth of Natalie awaiting us, our spirits were invigorated and put back in a positive faith in human beings. Natalie guided us to two great restaurants and settled us into the cute breakfast area and welcoming bar. Our rooms were clean and quiet. Boutiques with more gracious individuals awaited us right out the door. I am already encouraging my Kentucky Derby winner friends and others to stay at the Harpath. We cannot wait to come back. The hotel must realize that they are only as good as their assets- the folks who work for them. We hope to see Natalie, Parker and James again. They are the heartbeat of the hotel! Thank you for being so nice to us.

We were stunned at the condition of our room upon check in.
Thick dust covered several surfaces — so much so that my wife actually dusted a good portion of the room herself. The attached pictures don’t do it justice, but there was significant grime around the toilet and in the shower. Additionally, a few pieces of furniture were covered in water stains and other signs wear and tear.
Overall, the condition of our room was not consistent with our expectations of a luxury hotel, and we wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending the Harpeth to others. .

Big shout out for Parker and James at the front door. So friendly, helpful accommodating. Didn’t even need our number - they knew our car and had it ready ahead of time. Great hotel! Quiet, best black out shades ever, comfy bed, friendly staff. Charcuterie at restaurant/bar was exceptional. Such a cute town - great restaurants within a block. Shops, antiques etc Hotel Coffee shop was slow and not the best coffee or pastries. Both looked like the real deal but fell short. Overall very pleasant stay. Definitely will come again.

My recent stay at this boutique hotel was a delight. The elegant decor, plush bedding, and top-notch amenities made for a luxurious experience. The dining at the hotel's restaurant was exceptional, with delicious dishes and attentive service. James and Parker's customer service was outstanding—kind, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommend for a memorable getaway. Can't wait to return!

The valet was terrific! Parker and James were extremely accommodating, very kind, and professional. The hotel was very upbeat and comfortable. We felt the area was safe for our kids to walk around, and the selection of places to eat in the area was just enough! We enjoyed our stay!
