Regal Inn Chicago O'Hare - Franklin Park

There is a very good reason why this motel is called REGAL. I believe it is because you are treated like ROYALTY when you stay there. The room is PALATIAL and SPACIOUS; almost like one you can expect at a high class hotel. PRICING is very reasonable too! The staff is extra nice, warm and friendly with available smiles. The bed is comfortable and very clean with sheets and pillowcases as white as can be. Every area is monitored by cameras to ensure safety for everyone’s room and vehicle. There is a laundry room, an ATM machine, a soda machine and ample parking. The best reason to stay here is because it is QUIET even though the Regal Inn sits away from a very busy street. It’s a real find for person traveling to Chicago from O’Hare International Airport. There’s even coffee available after 6:00 am! I would return again and again if ever in this area.

Staff did excellent work came to check on heat immediately

The hallways smelled of heavy cigarette smoke though no smoking is allowed inside. The counter had an unwelcoming attitude, with bulletproof glass around it. Stayed for muliple days and room was not cleaned everyday. Might be ok for an overnight but more than 1 night would not suggest staying here.

I’m an over the road truck driver. I needed a place to stay for my 34 hour reset. The only local truck stop was full, so I looked online and found The Regal Inn. Much to my surprise, they have truck parking (tractor only) so I decided to book a room for two days. Upon my arrival, I immediately parked my truck and went to check in. The young lady working the front desk was very polite and very accommodating. When I asked if my truck was OK where it’s at she simply replied. “Yes, your truck is fine.” My room was great! Clean and very comfortable. First thing I noticed was there were no broken fixtures and no burned out lights, everything worked just the way it was supposed to. The room had a small refrigerator that was working and a small microwave oven too, heat things as well as a fairly good size television. The next thing I noticed was how quiet it was. There were no people hanging out in the parking lot, running up and down the walkways, and there was no loud music. So this made for very relaxing time. There were plenty of places nearby to shop and dine, Denny’s was located right across the street. Not only that but O’Hare International Airport is less than 5 miles away which makes this a prime location. Would I stay here again? Absolutely and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling thru Chicago.
