Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Winchester

This place was great. We will make Wyndhams our goto hotel when we travel, from now on.

We stayed at that property 4 weeks ago and again last night. First stay was great. No issues at all. This time, not so much. Lots of bouncing noises from the room above us in the evening and then at 3:40 a.m. a group of young people arrived, occupying two rooms across from our room. They were going back and forth from on room to the other; banging on doors; laughing and chatting very loud and overall partying. This went on for at least 30 minutes. Of course, we were woken up by all the noise and did not manage to get back to sleep. And they had the audacity to hang a DO NOT DISTURB sign on their doorknob. Very disappointed with the behavior of those guests. Thin walls too, perhaps?

The location off the highway , with gas stations and restaurants was a plus after driving all day.

Property was clean, staff very efficient.

Great place, great price, close to several places to eat. The only thing was being on the side of building facing highway, there was some road noise. I have at other hotels asked to be in a room opposite of highway.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The only complaint I had was that there was no in room coffee maker but obviously they had coffee downstairs in the breakfast area so thats not a huge deal.

This is a case of you getting what you pay for. The price was great at $73/night. However, soap bars are very small and limited and the towels are also small and very thin. Charge a little more and correct those deficiencies.

I like the modern style of furniture, decorations and utilities, essential but elegant. The bed was very comfortable and the room smelled fresh and clean. The EV charging capabilities are ok but a bit expensive. The desk is compact but functional, and the slim chair surprisingly comfortable. I will certainly keep it in mind when I travel again to this area. Highly recommended.
