The staff was lovely but the hotel needs some updating. The shower door didn't close all of the way and the shower was old and needed a really good cleaning. The bath towels were extremely thin and not up to Marriott standards. The breakfast area was very disappointing. The small refrigerator was broken so kids were eating their cereal dry. The gal working the breakfast brought out some bottles of milk if people requested but most folks didn't know to ask, rather than just having a large bowl filled with ice for milk and yogurt. The 2 waffle makers were beyond OLD and people had so much trouble getting the waffles out. Most waffles that I saw were destroyed because they stuck to the waffle iron. They absolutely need to be replaced. I love Fairfield Inns so I feel compelled to help Marriott upgrade this hotel.

I wanted French vanilla creamer for my coffee and the woman working the breakfast area said it was corporate policy to put the creamer out after the breakfast hour. Ridiculous! Either she is misinformed or else corporate needs to change their policy. Will choose a different hotel franchise next time if this is there policy!
