I can not explain how grossed out I am, and how ridiculous Baymont Inn & Suites are in Freeport! I had found bed bugs in my bed, and instead of refunding my money they said they would be able to move me 4 doors down. I would need to wait for the morning to get a refund. I didn’t even want to stay there at this point! I had no other options but to sleep it off with all the lights on, and miserable night of sleep! I wake up to find out since I stayed the night and didn’t leave the hotel refused to refund me for my stay because I ended up staying the night. See the pic for reference of the nasty bed bugs there!!

The bed was very comfortable, bathroom and sink were clean, but furniture was worn and carpet was stained and poorly vacuumed.

The age is showing a little at this hotel. Our room was comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit small. We had a room by the “mechanical room” and there was a noisy machine that cycled on and off, disrupting my sleep. The sitting chair had worn arms. The pillows definitely needed to be updated. There’s were no fresh linens for 2 days, so we had to go to the desk to ask for towels on the 2nd day (we stayed 4 nights.) Otherwise it satisfied our need for rest while visiting family.

I normally stay at this hotel when I go fishing off Freeport, Texas. The place is clean, every time!, the room and the bed are clean + there are more pillows than I could ask for... I can't ask for more for the price! this is a no-brainer! A++++++ Recommended!

I expected a little better quality from Baymont so I was a bit disappointed with the condition of the room. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows left much to be desired. There were things that showed much wear and the carpet was in need of replacement. Breakfast was adequate but nothing fancy. It is a better hotel than some in the area for the price.

Rooms needed some basic maintenance. Sink faucet had a bit too much pressure and sprayed over the counter and on whatever you had sitting there. There was rust on the wall on the left side of the shower. The carpet had too many stains.
The staff was good & enjoyed the breakfast.

Staff was super friendly. Room could use a little love. Needs a remodel. It was clean and we had everything we needed. Just needs a refresh.

Service was very nice room was bigger than I expected.. the overview of the pool was awesome. The noise level was at minimum. We probably was a bit noisy due to us celebrating my husband's 40th birthday. Everything was clean and neat

Overall we had a good experience, staff was great. They only thing I really noticed was in our room there was a wet/ sticky spot on the carpet. It was not small so you cant miss it when stepping between the beds. Also you could shower but not fill up the bath, the thing to switch for shower to bath was stuck in place. The staff was very friendly and inviting and they did their job very well.
