Very nice hotel, the staff is very helpful and accommodating. The location is perfect and the rooms are very spacious. We will book it again, even if the cleanliness of our room was not up to the standard of a 5* hotel (dust and lint that were not removed during our stay and a used bath towel behind the bathroom door when we arrived).... And yet we can highly recommend the hotel, we had a lovely stay there!

1 Stern für null Flexibilität! Reservierung im Chalet Wollte meinen Geburtstag erst mit 8 Personen feiern, dann mit 10 Personen. Ab 10 Personen jedoch gibt es nur noch Menü und keine Ausnahme. A most enjoyable few days in excellent accomodation, with first-class restaurants, all the facilities we needed and highly personal and professional service from the staff in all departments. The reception and concierge staff eased our stay in Freiburg by making numerous arrangemennts for us , both before and during our stay.

Colombi Hotel is a very modern, full service hotel located right on the edge of the Old Town. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and the sights. Our room was modern, bright, clean and quiet. Any request we had was taken care of quickly. Staff was helpful, but business-like. Were there 4 days and the guy at the front desk was pleasant but not friendly. Breakfast was very good. Great choice of options, including vegan and health conscious options. Eggs to your preference can be ordered. Our only negative was the room temp and bedding. As the weather had cooled, they had shut off the AC. Had no ability to control our room temp. It was 20C. Had a hevy duvet on the bed and the first night we roasted! Requested a lighter duvet and even with that, we roasted. We were told to open the windows. But kitchen noise and street noise made that undesirable. Overall, lovely hotel in a great location.

An easy walk from the train station. It made me feel like I was in a movie in the best sort of way. Attentive staff, comfortable bed, clean room--everything you need. We enjoyed the bar and the breakfast spread. It was lovely, and they offer about any amenity you need. Beautiful and worth the price.

Tout est quasi parfait dans cet Hôtel :la taille des chambres ,la décoration soignée ,la localisation centrale, l'amabilité et la compétence du personnel ,la propreté ,la qualité du petit déjeuner. Absolument rien n'a redire. J'y retournerai une nouvelle fois avec beaucoup de plaisir.

Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Der Service und die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke waren ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer war einwandfrei sauber. Schade, nur dass das Schwimmbad wegen Reparaturarbeiten nicht nutzbar war. Das soll allerdings kein Abzug in der Note sein. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Vielen Dank!

The hotel is ok for a quick stopover. Parking costs and breakfast costs almost doubled our original booking costs so beware. The rooms and lobby seem a little dated.Staff were friendly and breakfast was a little on the disappointing side which i am not used to in Germany .

This was my fourth visit to the Colombi and it was in all respects every bit as good as on all the others. It is a beautifully designed hotel, using the highest quality materials and the attention to quality is the hallmark of how it is run. The room was outstanding, so was the breakfast. The Colombi's piano bar is, in my view, the most tastefully designed and best stocked bar of any hotel I know.
