I had a lovely stay at The Local Hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had plans to spend a night on Rottnest Island before checking in for two nights at the hotel, and they kindly allowed us to store our luggage a day early. It was such a big favor and made our trip much more convenient. When we arrived, our luggage was already in our room, which was a nice touch.
The room itself was stylish and modern. We opted for a corner room, which had three large windows, filling the space with natural light. The lighting in the room was also well done, creating a pleasant ambiance.
Although the toilet and bathroom were shared, and there was some noise from the bar's music, the overall experience was enjoyable. These minor inconveniences were overshadowed by the positive aspects of our stay.
Overall, I think The Local Hotel as a lovely place to stay. We had a nice experience.

Location was atmospheric with a pub below at level one. However room is rather basic and also you have to carry your luggage up to level 2 as there is no lift. The doorknob looks like it may fall off. However it was good for an overnight stay

Very helpful staff, love the location, beautiful rooms just if the share toilets would have the supplies stock up more quickly ( such as hand towels) would be perfect.

The room was great and king size bed was very comfortable. Hallway is musty and needs some more attention. The noice from the bar downstairs was ok and stops after 10pm during midweek. The shared bathrooms are in need of some renovations and need more and regular cleaning. Luckily the shower itself worked well and was hot

Very clean. Friendly staff. Simple, clean renovation of old hotel accom. Shared bathroom very pleasant. Very walkable area (though perhaps not for solo person late at night).
Pub music/noise from downstairs a little loud when trying to get a little one down to sleep, however ended before 11/12pm.

The ANZAC day crowd was huge. The place was heaving with under 40s so we seniors felt somewhat out of place. But the food was great as were the drink options -quality wines by glass aside from house. So if you are under 40 go for it but maybe sit outside if you want to hear a conversation

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful hotel staff are fabulous and welcoming Food is great and great areas to sit eat and enjoy a few drinks and very close to everything in south freemantle and freemantle Itself Bed was super comfortable and even though it’s shared bathrooms they were very clean and spacious and nicely refurbished We had a great time

It is so noise every evening until 11:30pm.
Especially new year eve night was so bad.
