This was a third stay at the Woolvertown Inn. My wife and I believe each visit gets better. There are 4 areas I would like to offer commendations for this fine establishment. First, in the area of hospitality, we felt welcomed and at home as soon as we arrived. Kaella [spelling] met us and was genuinely pleased to welcome us back. She reviewed everything we needed to know. She let us know about breakfast, how to reach her if we needed anything during the night, and pointed us in the directions of the refreshments. Furthermore, Noel and Sidney were excellent servers during breakfast. They were friendly and helpful when we inquired about places to visit or places to eat. They were attentive and were expedient in providing anything we needed from coffee refills or a sudden change in our choice of breakfast. Their manner was friendly and professional. In addition, Ed, the chef, prepared excellent dishes for us with a wonderful presentation. Second, with regards to the area of accommodations, the room (The Hunterdon) was beautiful and well stocked with water, sodas, towels, toiletries, and other amenities. I love the fact that there is a CD player along with cd’s to play. In addition, the fireplace was amazing. The newly refurbished bathroom provided plenty of room and a luxurious shower and hot tub. Talk about relaxing. The room was clean and neat with plenty of light both artificial and natural. We had everything we needed, including comfortable bathrobes. Third, in the area of peace and quiet. The Woolverton provides an opportunity for rest and relaxation. The campus is far enough away from noisy highways and sits hidden among 300+ acres of farmlands. It’s a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of city and suburban living. We found it easy to relax - whether it was taking a walk in the morning before breakfast or enjoying the fire pit after dinner. Sitting on the porch was a private sanctuary where I could read, meditate, and just reflect on how blessed my wife and I are to have a place like Woolverton. The setting is so tranquil. Fourth, I want to commend the owners, Mary and Mario, for their flexibility. My wife and I had booked a stay three previous times before our most recent stay. Due to unexpected family emergencies, we had to cancel. However, they were patient and allowed us to roll over our visits for a later stay. We finally were able to schedule and keep our reservation. We are so happy that we were able to keep the reservation. Also, Mary and Mario keep the grounds beautiful with well-manicured landscaping. Beautiful flowers – perennials and annuals – dot the landscape and create wonderful floral arrangements on the patio. Everything is taken care of and well-kept; it is obvious they make the upkeep of the idyllic campus a priority. They are very intentional about excellence when it comes to welcoming guests to their Inn. In summary, this was our third stay at Woolverton, and we have already booked another getaway for the Fall. I
