Might be a decent place after the construction is done. No notice that the pool and breakfast are on hiatus. Odd odor throughout the hotel my last two trips there. Parking is tight due to the construction trailers and equipment taking up spaces overnight. Going to be some time before I give them another try.

The hotel is in a good location, and you can find it quickly after getting off the highway. The room facilities are new and the sanitary conditions are good. Breakfast is simple and convenient. Due to the renovation of some facilities, the windows were sealed and the lighting was slightly affected. Renovation starts around 8 a.m., so there will be some noise.

I have stayed here before and it was good but this time got a suit ( cost more) and too many things in room were broke. Shower doors would not stay closed while showering. Heater broken. Coffee maker broken. Charged for balcony but not a balcony anywhere on the building. When I let the clerk at front desk know she just smiled and said she would let maintenance know.

The room was clean and the few people I dealt with were very nice. BUT the TV didn't work, not much pressure from the shower which only got luke warm at best. "Breakfast" was saran wrapped bread slices and bagels, do it yourself waffles and corn flakes. Again, it was clean and quiet but definitely underwhelming.

The sheets on the bed were not clean. There were crumbs and blonde hair (I am a brunette) in the bed. The soap in the bathroom was used and not one additional new soap was provided. It was beyond disgusting and I will never stay at La Quinta again.
