Es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit dem 4Gänge Menü und der Weinverkostung und einem sehr netten und kompetenten Kellner. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat gut geschmeckt. Auch die passenden Weine schmeckten sehr gut. Wir werden es weiter empfehlen

Waren nur eine Nacht aber wir sind begeistert vom Weinberghotel Edelacker. Sehr freundliches Personal. Hervorragendes Essen und ein sehr guter Weiswein "Bachus Edition Edelacker". Sehr ruhige Lage auf dem Weinberg und eine herrliche Aussicht auf Freyburg und die Unstrut. Dierekt im Hotel gebucht, war am preiswertesten.

Die Lage ist wirklich sehr schön. Dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt, wie oft bemängelt, finde ich nicht so schlimm. Dass es aber in einem 4-Sterne Haus keine Minibar oder Etagenkühlschrank gibt, finde ich absolut unmöglich. Für ein gekühltes Getränk im Hochsommer muss man mit dem Fahrstuhl ins EG an die Bar und hoffen , dass diese auch besetzt ist und wieder Retoure. Wie in einem Motel One. nur dass die Übernachtung dort die Hälfte kostet.

Das Personal des Hotels war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Die Gastronomie hat am Abend die Hausgäste gegenüber geplanten Feierlichkeiten zurück gestellt. Man hätte vorher informieren können.

Die Lage des Hotels über der Stadt Freyburg ist einzigartig. Ein wenig mehr Informationsmöglichkeiten im Hotel zu Freyburg und der unmittelbaren Umgebung wären gut. Wie komme ich zum Beispiel zu Fuß in die Stadt?

Großer Parkplatz einige Meter abseits (Hotelvorfahrt mit Gepäck möglich). Einladend-freundliche Lobby. Ausgesprochen zurückhaltend-aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Rezeptionspersonal. Zimmer blitzsauber und funktionell; einzig das per Bewegungsmelder funktionierende Badlicht nervt, wenn man morgens ins Bad tappt und direkt geblendet wird (immerhin wird man dann schneller wach ...). Großzügig ausgestattete Saunaanlage mit kostenlosem Kuschelbademantel und freien Getränken. Üppiges Frühstücksbuffet mit auf Wunsch (den man ggf. deutlich äußern muss) frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen. Die abendliche Küchenleistung ist nicht ganz billig, aber absolut ihren Preis wert; bestens bedient wurden wir von einer ungewöhnlich gut ausgebildeten Service-Kraft (Kompliment!). Breite, gediegene Weinauswahl. Zu Fuß ist man steil in nur 5-10 min Minuten und auf gut begehbaren Waldwegen in ca. 15 min in Freyburg.

Das Hotel ist leider nicht auf dem aktuellen Stand. Wir hatten bei Anreise 33 Grad im Zimmer und keine Möglichkeit (da stand ein Lüfter) es zu kühlen. Es gibt keine Minibar und im Restaurant bekommt man meiner Meinung nach Fertigessen aus der Fabrik. Vielleicht war das Gemüse selbst gekocht .....viel mehr aber wohl nicht. Sehr schade .....
