Stayed for a week, and honestly the hotel is not worth the price. After a week, location was the only thing that I actually would recommend. I checked in online using the app the day before. I’m a Marriott member. Well I requested 2 robes and 2 pillows. We arrived the next day and those items weren’t in the room. It took hours for the robes to be delivered, after I inquired about them again, and it took three days for the 2 pillows, again because I inquired. The check in person at the front desk was not kind, rolling your eyes when you see a guest approaching is not nice. The whole checking process was not welcoming, he keeps saying that he couldn’t find my reservation and walking back and forth between desk. I was holding the reservation on my phone in my hand. But he did not check my phone to also confirm that I actually have a reservation and a confirmation. Our booking included a bottle of wine as courtesy, since I was there for my bday, we brought the bottle for dinner at the Calypso cafe. The manager told us that it was $25 to uncorked bottles, we told her that it was complimentary but ok, we were not ok with the ridiculous charge but we will pay. Nobody came to our table to open the bottle or bring glasses. We decided to have dinner at the hotel that night because it was St Kitts food, and we really wanted the experience. Horrible!!! The restaurant looks like half of the lights are off, it was just two tables occupied, no music. Nothing. Dead. Even though it was barely any customers, it took a while until we got some type of service. Breakfast was another ordeal. Our reservation included breakfast, but it seemed like not all the staff were trained, most of the morning we got an annoyed person about the vouchers, as if we were giving them a rare paper. It was very uncomfortable. Asking for coffee or juice shouldn’t be hard, especially for breakfast time.all our breakfast were buffet, so it takes time to go and get food. We were going and coming back to our table and coffee most of the time was served halfway the meal or about to finish. One morning I asked our server for a spoon for my oatmeal and was told go get it yourself at the table. Every day was a game of what type of service and attitude we will get on that day. Parking is another problem, this hotels does not follow guest first policy, because the tiny parking lot is for non guest. So some nights you will have to drive around until you can park. I’ve traveled extensively, and it is the first time that I’ve stayed in a hotel, specially a Marriott hotel that doesn’t live to the high standards. We experience and with a lot of very rude staff, one even ignored me and my husband when we went to place an order at the pool. Even one of her colleagues noticed that and came and apologized and took our order. Sadly I do not remember her name to properly acknowledge her amazing service and for saving the day. I have to give props to Selena (She should’ve promoted to the front des
