Frisco Lodge has a fun vibe which explains the loyal cadre of regulars ( repeat visitors over decades). My wife says the fun vibe is because of the wonderful owner, Susan. Historically significant... (it retains original stagecoach stop flavor from 1880's). The breakfast each day was was tasty including: eggs benedict, jeuvos rancheros, fruit, juice, coffee, cereal. oatmeal, waffles, omelets, pastry & more... The shared meals add a wonderful congeniality. There was apres ski with soup/stew, veggies, dip, crackers & wine. There was a room to store skiis & boots in warmth. It is centrally located proximate to Vail, Keystone, Breckenridge, Beaver Creek & Copper Mtn. The rooms range from in-lodge with shared bathrooms to private suites on other side of courtyard. Hot tub is up against main lodge ( privately segregated) in Courtyard. Parking is available but tricky in a very central location. Frisco has fun restaurants & cultural goings on... Frisco has a Walmart & Whole Foods.
