The hotel offers a delightful view of Mount Fuji from the window, with no blind spots. However, the room was smaller than expected, making it difficult to fully open a suitcase.
The breakfast and dinner were both delicious; I'd consider staying here again just for the food.
The onsen experience was just okay, and you need to bring your own towel as none are provided.
There were drones flying around at night, so it's probably best to be mindful of safety.

Facilities: It's an old hotel, but it has everything you need. Dinner was good, and breakfast was typical buffet quality.
Cleanliness: The room had a strong odor, like body odor or perhaps an old wooden smell.
Environment: The view of Mount Fuji from the window was absolutely superb.
Service: The private onsen was nice, I just didn't manage to book it for the morning. However, the public onsen was empty in the morning, which was good.

I don’t recommended this hotel, it doesn’t worth the money I spent. the hotel room is small and old, and smelly (Sewer odor), when we check in, no staff introduce the in room facilities to me, the room is cold and they didn’t turn on the heating before we arrive, we have to find the control and turn it on by ourselves. Dinner and breakfast is average. If you are not sure the weather is good, I don’t think you should book this hotel as the only reason for staying this hotel is view.

The beef set for dinner was absolutely delicious; crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the accompanying vegetables were also very tasty. The hot spring was also great, with stunning views of Mount Fuji that made for a truly relaxing experience.

This hotel boasts the best location for viewing Mount Fuji from Lake Kawaguchiko. You can even see it from your room, so you don't have to leave to capture that iconic 'upside-down Fuji' shot in the morning. Dinner was decent, and everything else was great, but the price is definitely a bit too high.
