The hotel was located near Shoji lake not Kawaguchiko lake so you have to take the bus from the main station. Overall is okay for our stay. It’s quiet and traditional style. Food is superb.

I like everything here

This is a traditional Japanese-style hotel, only 4 floors high, but directly accessible by elevator. The room is very large, and the hotel price includes a half-hour private bath in the morning and evening. The hotel room faces the most beautiful view of Lake Shojin and Mount Fuji.

The atmosphere in the hotel is very good. The view in front of the hotel is very beautiful. The food is very good. The private onsen is also good. I'm very impressed.

After a few days of special forces-style Tokyo tour, the family chartered a car to Yamadaya. We did some research before booking. We knew that the transportation here was inconvenient, but we didn't expect it to be so inconvenient... So we gave up several planned attractions and just lay down in the cabin, sitting in the room and watching the rippling lake and the white snow wrapped around Mount Fuji. The beautiful scenery was in full view. At noon, we were hungry and went to the only small restaurant nearby to have a meal. The feeling of taking things as they come made us relax during the tiring journey 😌 Playing snowballs, making snowmen, and watching the snow-capped mountains... Then soaking in a hot spring ♨️ was simply too comfortable.

Overall a very nice hot spring hotel. I recommend renting a car. It is a very cost-effective hotel with high standards of service, food and hygiene. I hope to experience the beautiful cherry blossoms in the future.

It's a more traditional hotel, and all the facilities are very Japanese-style. The boss’ grandpa is very cute, and the breakfast and dinner are delicious. It’s best to go early, and you can choose to have an hour of private outdoor soup on the rooftop. The location is too remote, in the mountains. If there are only two buses from Kawaguchiko at 3:30 and 5:30 in the afternoon, you need to plan your trip carefully if you rely on public transportation~
