Lake Villa Kawaguchiko

This is a standalone guesthouse, not brand new, but feels more like a vacation home. The interior is spacious, equipped with cooking utensils and tableware, and all the basic amenities you need. There's also a small private hot spring with a lovely view of Mount Fuji. The location is incredibly convenient, just a 5-10 minute walk to Lake Kawaguchiko, and very close to the Autumn Leaves Corridor, making it an excellent choice for autumn sightseeing. There's also a cherry blossom path nearby, perfect for photos.

First off, it's incredible that they have WeChat! Their English is excellent and understandable, so you can easily communicate with them via WeChat after booking. Their shuttle service is great; just confirm the time, and they'll be there right on schedule to pick you up. No need to worry about finding food once you're there. They provide very thorough recommendations, a whole booklet of information, and even on Friday and Saturday nights, there's a mobile ramen food truck run by a chef who used to work at a Michelin-starred restaurant. The burger food truck the next day was also delicious, with generous portions and lots of vegetables—definitely worth it. The rooms are very spacious, but I have to mention that their Western-style beds are not in a separate room, and the tatami room upstairs doesn't block out light, so it gets bright in the daytime. Hardly anyone uses the onsen (hot spring bath), and it's very close to Mount Fuji.

Absolutely loved this place! The owner was incredibly warm and friendly, giving us great recommendations for local eats and attractions. Plus, there were so many adorable cats around! You can even see Mount Fuji right outside. Overall, it was a super comfortable stay, and I'd definitely want to come back again!

Very close to the Red Line bus stop #16! You can also walk to Lake Kawaguchiko in the morning to see Mount Fuji. They also offer a shuttle service and a food truck (though I didn't use them this time). I'll definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

The environment is beautiful, and the guesthouse owner is very kind and gave us detailed information about the surrounding area. You can see Mount Fuji right in front of the guesthouse.

Absolutely loved this Airbnb! It's made up of individual villas nestled in the quiet fields at the foot of the mountains. You can even cook your own meals or have a BBQ at the villa. The owner's English is excellent, super standard! They also have lots of cats, one of them is named Xiaohua (Hana). The grandpa and grandma are both very kind and welcoming. There's a discounted, delicious hot dog sandwich shop right outside. Thanks for having me, I'll definitely be back!
