I've stayed quite a few times as an overnight for a visa run for South Korea. It's convenient and safe, and the desk staff and the other guests are usually quite friendly. It's definitely worth the stay.

I especially recommend it to women visiting Fukuoka alone.
As there was a women-only room, the toilet and shower room were divided into women-only and public rooms, so there was no need to wait to wash. Thank you for lending me an umbrella on a snowy day!

First, the staff service is excellent, always greet you with a smile and accommodating. Second, the hostel is well maintained and clean, and the pillow, blanket, and bed are good quality. Common areas like the lounge, shower, and toilet are functional and clean. Third, the location is close to the bus station, a 3-minute walk, and 10-15 minutes to Hakata station. I love that they have options for female and male-only dormitories and mixed—an excellent price for what you get. I highly recommend Hostel Toki and will visit again when I travel to Fukuoka.

The accommodation fee is cheap for Fukuoka city, so it can't be helped, but it is far from Hakata Station, towels and other amenities are charged, and there are only two shower rooms, one of which is for women only, so it was difficult to use.

The whole a**osphere is great. This is the first time I have encountered such a situation in a youth hostel. I am really lucky. I made foreign friends here and drank and chatted together at night. It was great 👍👍
A small disadvantage is that it takes a long walk from Hakata Station to get here
