The Blossom Hakata Premier

Extremely satisfied with this hotel. It's a short 5-10 minute walk to Hakata Station. There's a cafe right across the street with delicious soufflé pancakes. The room was clean, the public bath was great, and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The room felt quite newly renovated, and for a Japanese hotel, it was reasonably spacious. My biggest complaint, however, was the laundry situation. The communal washing machines were severely insufficient, and you couldn't adjust the wash or dry times, which was a real time-waster. There was also absolutely nowhere to hang even a few small items of underwear. While it's not a super long walk from Hakata Station, doing it back and forth under the scorching sun was quite challenging. Next time, I'd definitely prefer to stay somewhere closer to Hakata Station.

Facilities: Comprehensive amenities, including a smoking room on the L floor, a large public bath, and a laundry room. Cleanliness: The washing machines in the laundry room were a bit dirty, but the front desk staff helped me wipe them down with wet wipes. Everything else was fine and acceptable. Service: I initially booked a deluxe twin room, which turned out to be very small. I paid extra at the front desk to upgrade to the tatami room shown in picture 2. However, the front desk attendant still gave me the room shown in picture 1. I had to go back to explain that the room they gave me was incorrect. Only then did they switch me to the tatami room in picture 2. The deluxe twin in picture 1 definitely doesn't feel like 30-37 square meters. Breakfast is not recommended; there isn't much variety. There's a convenience store right downstairs and a Starbucks, offering more options. Location is decent, about a 600m walk from the West Exit of Hakata Station.

The room was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel, and it's very close to Fukuoka Airport. There's a popular brunch spot right downstairs, and the nearby shopping malls are great for browsing!
