Goom Hotel Haruyoshi

The shower in winter was difficult to control and it couldn't provide water with stable temperature. Once warm water showered and suddenly it became freezingly cold! Then I adjusted the tap to allow more hot water but suddenly it became boilingly hot! The vicious cycle simply repeated especially if I stopped the shower and restarted. The lighting in the room is so dim that I was not able to discover the kitchen light switch. The hotel didn't provide conspirious signage for it. Once I used the washing machine to wash clothes worn in 6 days. It was not too much but also not little. However, there were only 3 hangers and not any other airing racks or tools to use. It was very difficult and time consuming for me to find a solution. Finally I got all clothes hung by all means as shown in the photos attached, which includes the wardrobe, toilet and pantry. Apart from these, the rack in the toilet could not take up heavier clothes because it sticks on the wall with magnets instead of screws. It simply fell down when the clothes hung was a bit heavier. I did ask the hotel management if they could, 1) add more airing devices (like hangers, racks, rods, hanging wires, etc) in the room to ease the life of your traveller guests after clothes washing? 2) add more secured hooks and racks in the toilet and washing room for clothes hanging? They apologized for the inconvenience I experienced regarding the room lighting and the limited drying facilities. However they didn't provide any immediate remedies regarding the limited drying facilities. So, I will never stay here again in winter.

Convenience, great place to stay

Quite a terrible hotel for the price. Room Great it was big, Terrible in many parts. Bed, you could feel the springs. Pillow was too soft. Bathroom, it’s was two knobs, you had to fine tune each knob for the right temperature. Chair and table height was terrible, you could sit and your rest chin was on table top. No lift(but I stayed on first floor). There is no front desk, only a tablet in your room to chat with someone. Location, not the best definitely Quite a long walk whether to Tenjin or Hakata station. It is a comfortable distance to Canal City. It’s a cool chill walk along the canal. The road inbetween was terrible for wheels, so prepare more travel time as you need to drag your luggage. Two 7-11 around you It’s a good room for the space, but a terrible location and bed. Might consider if you are driving for transport

Adequate facilities.Bed needs an upgrade as does the shower area.I enjoyed my stay here.
