ゆったりと時間を過ごしつつ、美味しい食事をいただきました。露天風呂は、たまたまだったと思いますが、他の入浴中の方がいなかったので、一人でゆったり満喫できました。

ヤマハの迎賓館的施設として、ある意味採算度外視で作られたように感じました。宿泊費は決して安くはないものの、この金額ではあれだけの施設は多分維持できないでしょう。庭園（というよりは森レベル）をゆったり散歩したり、桜殿の素晴らしい建物とオーディオを楽しんだりと、時間をかけて存分に楽しむべき宿です。

お食事や工芸展で何度か訪れたことのある北の丸。泊まる機会はなかったのですが、コロナで遠方に行けず、ふるさと納税を利用して宿泊してみました。 森の中を抜けていくアプローチは、それだけで酸素不足の毎日が癒されそうな感じ。門からフロントまでは、大きな石畳が続き、キャリーケースを転がして行くのが大変なくらいです。笑 滞在は藤殿。洋室ですが木質系の造りで、エアウィーヴの寝心地は快適でした。 宿泊者のみの特典であるオーディオルーム。別邸の古民家で、コンパクトながら素晴らしい音質のオーディオを堪能できます。ヴォーカルの息遣いまで再現されていて感動しました。さすがヤマハ！ぜひお気に入りのCDを持参してください。（要予約） 湯殿は、平日で、コロナの人数制限もあり、ほぼ貸切状態でゆっくりできました。（ドライヤーが美容室仕様で強力でよかった。） お庭はぐるっと散策して20分くらい。運が良いとカモシカやウサギなどを見かけることもあるそう。途中、移築された創業者の川上氏の生家を初めて見たのですが（外からのみの見学）、弾けたいが栗やドングリが庭に落ちていたりして、古民家の風情を懐かしく感じました。 お食事は以前よりボリュームは減って、質はさらにアップ。（私には多過ぎたので、嬉しいです。男性もごはんお代わりすれば十分かと。）朝食もシンプルですが、どれも良い塩梅に設えてあって、大変満足度の高いものでした。強いて言えば、コーヒーのミルクをフレッシュではなく、ヨーグルトと同じしばちゃん牧場など地元の牛乳にしていただけら嬉しいです。 売店でも、遠州や静岡産のステキなものをもっと置いていただけるとよいかなと思います。 自然を堪能できる木造建築。おいしい食事と緑に癒されたい方にオススメです。

ヤマハ女子プロトーナメントが開かれる山名コースをプレーしたくて宿泊パックで予約し、それぞれ楽しめました。 建物は素晴らしいです。さすがヤマハとあってトイレの壁まで木を使い、館内は落ち着いた雰囲気です。 ロビーには自由に弾けるピアノが置いてあります。弾くにはかなり勇気がいりますね。よほど腕に自信がないと。 庭が広いので、ぜひ散策をおすすめします。 お部屋は藤殿で広々とした中庭と藤棚が見えました。 お風呂は温泉ではなく、オーバーフローでないので、私の好みではありませんでした。夕食はおいしかったのですが、朝食はさほど感激がない内容で、これでは、再訪はないと思いました。
