It is a new and clean building in a hotel located in front of the station. The parking lot is on the back side beyond the track, so it is close by foot, but it takes about 10 minutes by car. If you go by car, it is recommended to stop in front of the hotel and then move to the parking lot after receiving the explanation. The room was small but new and clean, and the water pressure of the hot water was good. It seems to be a business hotel, so if you can choose, the room away from the elevator is recommended. If you stay in the front room, you can hear the voice guide at the arrival of the elevator. There was a public bus and it was good to put it in the foot. It was a little disappointing that I couldn't use it because I had a large powder room at present. There was a little trouble about the parking fee, but I was very polite in the exchange by the phone. The hotel that responds firmly at such a time can stay with peace of mind. I will do it here if I go nearby again.

Stayed here 2 nights for close proximity to a conference. Located adjacent to train station, bus and taxi rank. Noise not an issue. The hotel is old, basic but agreeable for the price. The room is smallish, especially the bathroom. The bed is quite comfortable. Complimentary toiletries are good quality. Breakfast is included. It’s traditional japanese. Grandma in the kitchen is worth price of admission alone. Her enthusiasm is admirable. Proper machine coffee. There’s some good eating options within a few mins walk. And a terrific little whiskey bar run by lovely old couple. Situated down a side alley, if you can find it - follow small purple sign on main street.

２ Hotel consisting of one building. The space to wash in the female public bath is ３ and less. Shampoo rinse body soap was Steven Nor. The chicken boiled for breakfast was the best and delicious. Next to the building is Japanese food, Italian restaurants, supermarkets and stabbers. There are thin stairs for pedestrians on the side and the hotel side, so when you use it, you don't turn the building into it.

Stayed in August 2019. Business hotel located 5 minutes walk from the north exit of JR kakegawa station where the Shinkansen stops. The appearance and the room are clean and clean. We drove to the station at night. The location was in front of the station, but there was still a vacancy in the parking lot, so we were lucky to park the car right next to the hotel. 1F We will make the accounting at the front desk first. I spent five nights in the Kakegawa Grand Hotel in September 2019. The hotel is not too expensive but very close to the downtown and the train station. I saw the hotel as we pulled into the train station and I walked to dinner each night to a different restaurant. The Kakegawa Castle was a short walk to the end of the street. The hotel was clean and the staff spoke English with varying degrees of proficiency. Breakfast was good with plenty of western foods in addition to the Japanese items. Eggs cooked to order and a pot of brewed coffee were nice features. A very pleasant stay and I hope to return someday.
